Le service de télévision n'était plus disponible à partir du milieu de la soirée + l'alarme d'incendie est partie à deux reprises, dont une fois après 21h00. Les employés ont tenté de gérer les deux situations rapidement, au mieux de leurs capacités. Le stationnement est dispendieux, et il les va-et-vient non permis.

No free parking available. We had to use the airport parking and the indication was not clear.

My main problem or source of confusion is regarding payment. When I booked with Booking.com, I used my Czech debit card to reserve, so I had the impression that card would be charged for the stay. Leading up to my arrival - the hotel sent me a pre-registration form, one of the sections was to add a card for payment. So I added my Czech debit, and it was accepted - so I'm still thinking all is good.

Then I get to the check-in at 01:00 AM and the reception tells me only credit card. Well, living in Europe I don't actively use a credit card and my credit card was no longer active so I couldn't use it. After a solid hour and a half, the reception calls their manager and they decided to "try" the debit card. It went through - hallelujah!

The next morning, I was checking out and day-shift reception explained that for credit card they charge a deposit of 100 CAD a night, and for debit 200 CAD a night. So basically what I heard was that debit was entirely possible the entire time, and there was no need for me to waste an hour and half checking in during the middle of the night after a long flight.

Well, the TWO fire alarms were a bit much, especially the one at 5 am when we had to sit on the cold curb until the firefighters cleared the building. The website didn’t have clear directions for how to get to the hotel, so I walked around for ten minutes trying to find the way in before I called the front desk and was immediately put on hold. I waited a few minutes, then decided to keep searching. I finally found the entrance from the second floor of the airport that was labeled as “administrative”, down two long hallways that were under construction, and into an empty restaurant with no clear indication of where the front desk was. When I reached the front desk, I waited in line for another several minutes. I was still on hold. At 14 minutes on hold, the associate finally picked up the phone again, but I had arrived at the front of the line. They seemed to think that all of this was normal, acceptable treatment. Despite 2 people being on staff, one seemed to be unclear about how to do anything.

The rooms were decorated well and pretty neat, but it was freezing and the heater made an absolutely awful, very loud noise constantly when it was running.
