Pros:

A small and quiet hotel very close to the sea.
The staff are incredibly sweet, the bathroom is very spacious, and the room is simple but has everything you need. Most importantly, the street is very, very quiet.

We booked this hotel for one night and the next day (day of check out) we weren’t allowed to use the swimming pool anymore. I told reception we had a late transfer so we would be lying by the pool and she said no and told me we could wait only in reception area. I have never experienced this before in a hotel. Also, we rented a motorbike through the hotel which wasn’t working well. The motor was shutting off all the time at the start and nearly paid double for it.

Pros:

Really lovely staff. Whole family seems to work there. Everyone was super welcoming. Breakfast was great. Excellent price.
Bed was very comfortable.
Pool seemed very clean.

Cons:

I feel really sorry for the family business to mention it but we had some points that made us not rebooking it.

We had a really bad moldy smell in the room. It seemed that they had a water damage in the past. (Deluxe room)

Pool area looks nothing like on the image and was not welcoming. It had a really bad smell around. The pool itself looked very clean though but the smell and the stuff lying on the benches made us not using it.

Pros:

The room is great, new and clean. Plus they clean every day. The staff is really nice. I would really go back.

Cons:

The first day of the included breakfast they told me they did not have the ingredients for toast and eggs (one of the two options) and they just offered beef soup. Just would be great to recieve what they offer.

I have stayed at many hotels, but never felt the need to register a review, due to my delight.
Pros:

A marvellous, hospitable family of three generations run this recently built gem of a hotel, which includes rooftop swimming pool in a quiet, but highly accessible, location, in the best part of Da Nang. Modern, stylish, clean, quiet and secure, with good sound proofing, so one can turn up the jazz without any complaints. Splendid air conditioning, water pressure and effective refrigerator to chill one's wine. First rate restaurants, cafes, department stores, spas and beach (for sunrise/sunset swim & run) all within a few minutes walk. Secure: I left valuables, unlocked, in room for my two week stay, without trouble. 24/7 reception attendance. Food & Drinks: the best choice of Vietnamese breakfast, as well as selection for the western palate. All fresh ingredients bought at 4am everyday. I highly recommend the intensely flavourful Vietnamese coffee. In summary, a brilliant hotel, which combines the best of family-run with large corporate.

Cons:

I was always happy at Happy, until being unable to extend my stay, due to the hotel being fully booked, so I recommend booking ASAP.

Not the best experience but OK rooms
Pros:

The rooms were spacious with comfortable beds. Close to the beach.

Cons:

Unfortunately, our experience regarding customer service here was disappointing. It started off with our room not being ready even 30 minutes after check-in time so we had to wait. Then we were met with a weird canalization smell coming from the bathroom to which we notified staff. It took some time for them to look into it but the problem was never really solved as the smell stayed for the entirety of our stay. It was pretty strong and stunk up the entire living room when opening the bathroom door. One night, around 23.00, when coming back to the hotel, we were suddenly locked out of the building and there was another hotel guest desperately trying to get it. Upon calling the hotel, they provided a code for the entrance door but we thought that we should’ve received this information earlier (i.e. They could’ve stated that the entrance would be locked at a certain time and that there was a code to get inside - The other hotel guest didn’t have his phone with him so who knows how long he would’ve been stranded outside if not for our arrival). Additionally, there were multiple issues with the card payment, using 2 different credit cards (which worked perfectly fine elsewhere). Last but not least, the staff wasn’t the friendliest or most enthusiastic. There was one woman who did try her best to accommodate our needs, especially regarding the smell, but I can’t say the same for the others. I’m sorry to have to give this negative feedback since this is most likely a small family business but I’m hoping for it to initiate necessary improvements.
