Relaxing, luxurious stay in a fabulous location.
Pros:

Lovely boutique feel. A refreshing change from the sea of identical rinse and repeat rooms in most modern hotels. A lovely place to stay in the heart of Dungarvan.

The best expierence
Pros:

Absolutley amazing hotel, beautiful decor, attention to detail is unbelievable. The breakfast was just wonderful, exactly what i wanted to start the day. Staff were wonderful. Perfect location.

Absolutely great place to stay, very convenient to center of Dungarvan and easy parking a BIG plus.

Thank you for creating a place to stay so memorable.
Pros:

The breakfast was perfect and the staff serving were friendly, professional and provided great service. The Croissants were the best and the salmon, etc. Rosin who checked us in was delightful as well as meeting Jokub the owner. We were in a small room in the original historic side of the building. We loved all the amenities and the design, color and architecture beautiful. The location you can't beat. It would of course be great if the city had more complimentary parking. I am a travel planner and organize small groups and this was a stop to review a place to stay. It is fabulous and no doubt the owners will do well with the hospitality they provide.

Cons:

We did not like that we could only stay one night in Dungarvan. Our itinerary go changed so we made the most of our night and day in this lovely town.

1/5 Stars – Disappointing lack of care for a ruined night's sleep

We were set for a 5-star stay at the Hatmaker, but an alarm randomly started going off in our room at 3:45 AM. I had to go track down the night porter to get it turned off, which completely disrupted our sleep.

What made it worse was checking out the next morning. When we brought up the hassle to Tomás at the desk, we were met with a dismissive, haphazard "ah, sorry about that." No offer of a late checkout, a coffee on the house, or any small gesture of goodwill to make up for a completely ruined night.

Great property, but customer service when something goes wrong is practically non-existent. Wouldn't return.

We loved absolutely everything about this little boutique hotel. It was perfect in every way. The decor is beautiful and the thought that went into the room obvious. Perfect little touches that made a difference.

Fab find
Pros:

Car parking to rear was so convenient, was able to leave car for 24hrs for a couple of euro and walk everywhere. Courtyard was fab and breakfast was very good.

Pros:

This hotel is a gem. Beautifully furnished and decorated with attention to detail and quality. Very friendly reception. A totally enjoyable stay. Friends who live locally were keen to see inside this relatively new hotel and were trying to think of excuses to stay despite only being a few minutes from home. We didn't try the breakfast but the bar was good (previous night, not breakfast time).

Cons:

Only staying one night.
