Pros:

This place is spacious and airy in a city where accommodation like this is hard to find. The rooms are big and clean. The restaurant has a nice relaxed vibe. There are two pools and numerous tennis courts and other club facilities. Excellent proximity to the botanic gardens too.

Cons:

The decor in the hotel wing does feel a bit spartan, like a gym.

Pros:

The staff were great.

Cons:

For the price. It was old, run down. The bathroom was full if mould and algae in corners at the sink. I wouldn’t ever stay again if given a chance.

Good location for the World Heritage Site of the botanical garden!
Pros:

As a bird watcher, I wanted to be walking distance to the botanical garden.

Cons:

Rooms required going up and down about 45 stairs to get to the hotel wing… no elevator.
