This is a perfect hotel for a mountain stay
Pros:

Everything. The staff are so welcoming and warm and everything runs smoothly. Lovely onsen, large and clean rooms. Excellent location. Snow monkeys. The dinners and breakfasts were great and all of the staff, especially Nike & the dining staff took such good care of us. This was a highlight of our trip to Japan and the perfect place to stay in Norikura. We hired a car from Matsu moto, but you could easily access everywhere by bus, incl Kamikochi.

Ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen 🥰
Pros:

Die Unterkunft war einfach perfekt. Das Zimmer war wunderschön und hat uns auf unserer Japanreise am Besten gefallen. Auch auf Vegetarier wurde Rücksicht genommen. Vor allem das Personal war super herzlich und man hat sich super wohl dort gefühlt.

incredible hotel.
Pros:

the staff were truly awesome I hope every place I go to will be half as good, Nike is especially kind and wanting to help with anything he's pure gold. super clean place great food just awesome.

just the location is a little meh, no convenience stores near the place which is not the hotels fault at all.

Pros:

Wunderschön am Ende des Tals gelegen. Mit dem Bus mit Haltestelle direkt vor dem Hotel. Onsen mit dem Schwefelwasser war ist toll. Und natürlich das wunderbare Essen beim Frühstück und Abendessen

Midden in de natuur!
Pros:

Super goede service van het personeel!
Leuke Japanse kamers. Avondeten was super origineel met een hotpot en een soort bbq. Jammer was wel dat dit 2 avonden achter elkaar hetzelfde was. Ze kunnen vegetarisch eten regelen.

Cons:

Bij het ontbijt heb je geen keuze en als het niet je smaak is, is dat wel jammer. Verder wel erg uitgebreid Japans ontbijt.

Het is een prachtige plek en een fijn hotel.
Pros:

Het is een prachtige plek en een fijn hotel. Aandachtspunten zijn dat je geen eigen douche op de kamer hebt, je moet de centrale Onsen gebruiken, en het is heel stil in de omgeving, toen wij er waren waren alle restaurants in de directe omgeving dicht.

Baño maravilloso ONSEN en un alojamiento de alto nivel y un trato excelente.
Pros:

El ENTORNO; en pleno Alpes Japoneses, se encuentra ubicado entre bosques y alrededor naturaleza. Ideal si, como es nuestro caso, viajamos con coche. Igualmente, delante hay una parada de autobús.

LA HABITACIÓN y toda el MOBILIARIO tanto de la habitación como del hotel; muy moderno a la par que guarda una estética que pretende respetar las lineas clásicas de madera y la habitación con suelo de tatami. Las camas son una maravilla y los acabados de lujo. Hasta dispone de cargadores inalámbricos para el Iphone instalados al lado de la cama o carga USB C en la pared.

Dispone ademas de una SALA TRANQUILA donde poder tomar whisky japonés, vino o algún que otro licor (que no usamos).

ONSEN; un maravilloso baño termal (algo de olor a azufre) pero relajante y revitalizante. Tuve la ocasión de disfrutarlo solo y fue una verdadera maravilla.

EL DESAYUNO; por 2500 Yenes puedes disfrutar de un buen café, una ensalada y un rico salmón al grill para empezar el dia con gusto y mucha fuerza.

La ATENCIÓN: nos recibió un señor que entendí que es el dueño o manager que nos informo muy amablemente del funcionamiento del Onsen como de la cena o el desayuno.

Cons:

Pondría un "PERO" en la cantidad de la CENA; su valor, de unos 4400 Yenes no correspondía del todo con la cantidad de comida, que nos esperábamos algo más. Puedes disfrutar de una riquísima sopa (Miso), arroz, entrantes y por ejemplo 4 pedazos de carne Waghu (a mi compañera le pusieron gambas como alternativa a la carne) que puedes hacerte a tu gusto en un pequeño hornillo en la mesa. Además había vegetales de temporadas y setas para poder pasar por el hornillo.

EL PRECIO; 140 € por la noche, es evidente que no es apto para algunos bolsillos pero, como nuestro caso, nos permitimos hacer un esfuerzo para disfrutar de una tarde y noche maravillosa en Komakusa Hotel.

UBICACIÓN: supongo que para personas que no lleven coche (en nuestro caso de alquiler) y dependan del transporte publico la ubicación no es su fuerte pero si me consta que delante hay una parada de autobús que bien seguro estará conectado con las paradas principales de la zona.

An amazing place to stay
Pros:

The room is fantastic and it’s a huge and beautiful room.

We walked easily from the hotel to the nature reserve and we had a great experience.

Cons:

There are limited meal options available and as the place was remote, it was difficult to find other places for dinner. My wife is vegetarian and there weren’t really any options for the set menu.
