I had a mixed stay, but I would visit again because of the great hotel staff. Erin at the reception desk was amazing. She was one of the friendliest and most helpful people I have met in any hotel.
The bed was okay, and I slept well because the room was very quiet. Housekeeping was great and made the bed every day. The hotel is also in a very good location, and Uber arrived quickly. One day, when my Uber Eats order arrived without cutlery, the reception staff offered to send some to my room, but I chose to collect the plastic cutlery and a small bottle of water from the desk.
However, I was disappointed that there was no free water in the room. The two bottles provided cost $7 each, and I only received one small free bottle during my seven-night stay which they gave seeing I ordered Uber Eat and I asked for cutlery. The Nespresso machine was also dirty, so I had to clean it several times before using it. I also had to follow up with the hotel to get my laundry returned.
I did not eat at Ama Restaurant because I often returned late from university. I either ate at nearby places or ordered Uber Eats.
The view from Foxglove Terrace was lovely, but the indoor lights reflected on the windows, making it hard to enjoy the Boston skyline at night. The staff were a little cheeky, the food portion was not as described, and I was charged a 20% automatic gratuity even though I was dining alone. I felt the food was overpriced and not very good.
Overall, the hotel staff, especially Erin, made my stay better, and I would consider staying again.

Very clean, modern, and comfortable. Well-appointed rooms.
View of the Harvard parking lot.
The front desk, specially the girl that helped us, was brilliant and I cant thank her enough for working with us, and went above and beyond and got us 2 rooms in the same floor right next to each other. We are so happy and grateful for this and a big Thank you!
The coffee/tea at the front desk area could be better. they always seemed to be low on it and we had to wait about 10 minutes each time to get some.
It was quality food.
The parking was not included.
New and clean
NA
Room is clean, facilities are modern and new. Friendly valet. Check-in was a bit funny - It was late and I have to tell them I was there to check in - with 2 teenagers and bag packs. Eventually the lady who checked us in was very nice and friendly. She also reminded me I had 3 x 50 breakfast credits, and gave me a brief review what's nice and answer. The food was indeed good.
The checkout staff was so "sure" I had only 1 x 50 breakfast credits instead of 3, and that credit is only for adult. I ended up have to double pay for my children, and reach the hotel back through booking.com customer service. The hotel acknowledged their mistakes and still have to ask me IF I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE MY REFUND.
What a joke.
Beautiful hotel, amazing room and bathroom, beautifully decorated, comfy beds.
The hotel is new and it doesn't seem like the service has been figured out yet. We only stayed one night and didn't have much time to enjoy it. We waited for ages to check in, a line was forming and staff kept arriving and leaving but not helping. Then we waited for a kettle to be delivered to our room so we could make tea, there is a lovely Nespresso machine for all the coffee drinkers. The breakfast was a la carte and there was only one server, again other staff seemed to be arriving and leaving but not helping. We had no water for most of our meal and weren't offered any tea or coffee. The table next to us got a round of specialty coffees though. It also seems like valet parking is the only option however there is a parking lot behind the hotel where you can take an elevator straight to the lobby. This is a lovely hotel but it wasn't the right choice for us this time.
Modern, comfy and clean. Good location for HBS program and Harvard Eveny.
The water bottles charged 7$ each left in my room was OPEN at my first night with a Refill station avaible instruction. I was confused and asked the front desk. First one, she told me, if you do not take the bottle with you, you wouldn’t get charged and you can refil it at lobby… I said ok, in that case can you ask the house keeper fill up the bottle in the morning. She said ok… so, I drank the water from the unsealed bottles, because in some boutique hotels, that’s what they do to be green!!! But I had a question in my head, why its an open Evian glass bottle water with refill station???
Then next day, I came back from my event very late I saw I had two complete new sealed bottle, and then I drank it but wondering what the deal of the two open bottle at the first night?
Eventually, at the check out, I stayed 3 night, the front desk told me I have to pay for the bottle I drank and they removed the charge because I drank two open bottle water!!
I told them, no, I would like to pay for my water if that’s the case but how can you left two open fillup bottle observely from previous client who doesn’t want to he changed to the next client to drink??? What’s the safety measure?
The front desk doesn’t seem take it seriously and said would he speak to the manager and have them speak to me, which I have never receive anything!! I was sitting the the lobby for another 2-3h before heading over to the airport. That was disappointed.
Btw, the light shot if off automatically while I was in bathroom, in meeting, in the bed. 3 consecutive days. Eventually, I had to go out leave the room and reentrance with my key.
