Übernachtung mit Sehr gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis
Pros:

Neubau im Süden der Stadt. Wir erlebten einen sehr freundlichen und bemühten Rezeptionisten Arosn. Die Buchung des Flughafentaxis hat perfekt funktioniert. Alles sehr sauber und aufgeräumt.

Cons:

Wir erlebten die Lage etwas weit abgelegen. Unser Zimmer roch nach Urin und hatte eine Durchgangstür (gut hörbarer Nachbar). Fenster lassen sich nicht öffnen. Frühstück war schwach.

Family atmosphere in the city
Pros:

Excellent location, cleanliness, very friendly, welcoming and supportive staff. Close to restaurants, supermarkets and local traditional shops.

Cons:

Air conditioner was very noisy. This is the only thing that disturbed me, but for people that are used to this noise it probably would be ok.

Pros:

Neueres Hotel, am Rand von Colombo. Zum Zentrum der Stadt war es relativ weit. Die Einrichtung der Zimmer war ansprechend, die Sauberkeit in Ordnung.
Einige der Angestellten waren nach einem recht bescheidenen Empfang an der Rezeption sehr freundlich.
Wir konnten unser Gepäck nach Check-Out an der Rezeption abgeben und dort lagern, bis zur Abfahrt zum Flughafen am Abend.
Für den Preis haben wir insgesamt dennoch etwas mehr erwartet.

Cons:

Der Empfang an der Rezeption war kühl. Die Angestellten, die zum Zeitpunkt unserer Anreise dort waren, brachten weder ein Lächeln noch eine freundliche Begrüßung zu Stande. Unser gemietetes Tuktuk sollten wir ohne weitere Erklärung auf dem benachbarten Gelände einer Bäckerei abstellen.
Die zuvorkommende, höfliche und gastfreundliche Art, die wir in allen anderen Unterkünften in drei Wochen Sri Lanka erlebt haben, fehlte hier leider vollkommen. Wir haben uns zu Beginn hierdurch sehr unwohl und unwillkommen gefühlt.
Der Straßenlärm war in dem Zimmer relativ deutlich zu hören.

Fijn net hotel
Pros:

Mooie nette kamers in een relatief nieuw hotel. De bedden liggen heerlijk en de wifi is snel en stabiel. Het hotel ligt op de kaart wellicht ver uit het centrum, maar met een tuktuk ben je er in 10 tot 15 minuten.

Cons:

Het niveau van Engels van de medewerkers. Wilde in de avond een nacht bijboeken voor de dag erna en dat was nogal ingewikkeld. Hiervoor moest er eerst contact opgenomen worden met de manager die de volgende dag er pas weer zou zijn.
