A masterstroke of an accommodation that perfectly matched the magic of Riga

I came to Riga purely by chance, but it turned out to be the most beautiful coincidence. I have truly fallen in love with this city; it has such a powerful energy of love. Choosing to stay at Carillon Aparthotel was an absolute masterstroke.

As a frequent traveler who has explored various corners of the world, I’ve stayed in both the most luxurious and the most budget-friendly places. What truly sets an accommodation experience apart is the element of quality. This hotel offers a flawless experience in that regard—delivering excellence in service, design, and every single detail.

Good stay, amazing location
Pros:

Amazing location, nice property and staff. The Washer/dryer in the basement was a nice touch. Decent gym also but the basement was overall a bit smelly - they should make it nicer.

Cons:

Parking definitely an issue as others have highlighted. Europark app doesn't work for US guests (not their fault), but they should have a clearer options detailed for guests.
We booked a 1 bedroom for 2 adults and 2 kids, but it was quite a small space overall.
And 4 coffee pods for 2 night stay is not enough - definitely should add extra pods per night.

Cons:

Some basic daily cleaning would be nice or at least garbage collection. We only stayed 2 nights so it wasn’t a problem, but for a longer stay would be.

Pros:

We booked the Junior suite for comfort and space for 4 nights.
It was good .

Cons:

For 2 people they give us 4 coffee pods. I would have expected at least to have 8, as in one cup of coffee per day.
For such an upmarket hotel, it was the little touches that were disappointing. We did pay extra for more pods.

An elegant and cozy apartment with an excellent location.
Pros:

The apartment is beautifully furnished with high-quality furniture and well-chosen household items. The kitchen is fully equipped with premium appliances and advanced small devices, making it very convenient and enjoyable to use. Overall, the apartment is extremely comfortable and well designed.
The free laundry facilities (washer and dryer) and gym in the basement are a great bonus and very convenient.
The location is excellent—on the edge of the Old Town in a quiet and safe area. It’s an easy walk to the Old Town, and there are many great restaurants just around the corner on the next street.

Cons:

Because the apartment faces west, it gets extremely hot in the afternoon. During the heatwave warning in Riga, even the smart air conditioner wasn’t able to bring the temperature down, and I ended up with mild heat exhaustion.

This place was the bomb! Yes, you might need to pay for some more coffee capsules but who cares! Can’t wait to come back

Pros:

Very comfortable in a perfect location. Room was well set up. Good curtains which is essential with Latvian short nights in summer. Staff were charming and helpful. Would stay again.

This is a wonderful place to stay in a wonderful location in Old Town Riga.
Pros:

Our room was very comfortable and the location in Old Town was excellent. Everything was just a short walk away. Wi-Fi is included, too! There's a full kitchen with seating for 4 people. Pots, pans, plates etc. were all included. The bathroom is large by European standards.
