Prime Midtown location
Pros:

The location is absolutely the best part of this hotel. Situated on 48th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues, everything is right at your doorstep—Starbucks and Five Guys are literally right at the entrance, along with local pizzerias, shops, and cafes. 5th Avenue is just a one-minute walk in one direction, Times Square is only a five-minute walk in the other direction, Rockefeller Center is a short stroll away, and the subway station for the orange lines (B, D, F, M) is right at the end of the block. We were also pleasantly surprised to receive a notification that our room was ready as early as 10:30 AM.
Featured inside the room are a very comfortable bed, a large TV screen, and excellent air conditioning—we stayed for a week and a half in August, and it cooled the room down really well. The hotel offers some great amenities as well: the main reception is on the 3rd floor next to a nice paid cafe, but they also provide a complimentary morning coffee and cold drink station, which was perfect for grabbing a quick drink before heading out since we didn't order breakfast. On our floor, there was a water refill station, and we each received a branded reusable bottle to use. The bathroom was stocked with full-sized pump dispensers for shampoo, conditioner, and body wash that smelled fantastic, so there is truly no need to bring your own from home.

Cons:

The room is quite small and best suited for an average-sized couple traveling light. Given the compact size, it really lacks adequate storage and hanging options; the closet isn't well-utilized and could definitely use an extra shelf.
For a hotel of this standard, I also expected a coffee machine or at least a kettle with hot drink supplies in the room, which was noticeably missing.
We were assigned a room facing the internal courtyard, which was disappointing because we had to keep the curtains closed most of the time for privacy due to nearby room windows directly opposite us. In my opinion, rooms with an interior view should be priced lower than those with a view of 48th Street.
Housekeeping schedules were also a drawback during our week-and-a-half stay; cleaner service usually arrived late in the afternoon, right when we returned to the room to rest. As a result, the housekeeper couldn't clean the room most days, and we simply had to ask her for fresh towels and toilet paper. Having a freshly cleaned room is a big part of what makes a stay feel like a real vacation, so housekeeping should definitely take place earlier in the day. Additionally, there was also no toilet brush in the bathroom, and I felt that the shower water pressure was too low.
