Excellent location. Settled right on the ocean, our room was overlooking ocean with balcony. Can't beat the view, sunrise, and sunset right from the hotel room. The hotel has an outdoor pool ranging from 3 feet to 8 feet, opened 8am to 8pm. The hotel has an indoor pool open from 8 am to 10 pm. The room was updated, very clean, and equipped with a fridge and microwave. Private beach was sandy in low tide and during high tide only for sitting and enjoying the view as rocks are quite stunning but not easily walked over. The sitting area overlooking the ocean was wonderful. Enough towels are provided for guests, including pool towels. There is a seafood restaurant within 9 min walk from this hotel and small restaurant with appetizers and drinks on site in this hotel. Breakfast is free, served from 7am to 10am, and includes basic hotel breakfast items like waffles, sausages, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, muffins, bagels, toast, tea, coffee, juice and such.
Free parking.

Cons:

Beach access stairs are shaking, and it requires good balance and agility to go up and down. This doesn't take away from this hotel.

Clean, renovated rooms; not on a beach, no beach amenities; beautiful ocean views.

Recently renovated rooms. Beds comfortable. Beautiful ocean views. On the ocean. Breakfast was upgraded from prior reviews in that they had hard boiled eggs or continental breakfast egg and cheese omelet’s and sausages every day. Plenty of fruit.

Cons:

It’s not really on a beach although the beach is within walking distance. However you can walk down a long staircase to the ocean. At high tide, there is a small area of rocks covered in water but when the tide is going out or low, there is plenty of sandy beach but chairs and towels are not provided. The pool towels are very small so kind not great for the beach. Kind of pricy for an ocean views with no real beach or beach amenities.

The outdoor pool is a decent size but the furniture is tired and towels (available at the very small indoor pool area) are tiny. The pool is in the front of the hotel/motel and boarders the parking lot and street.
