Pros:

Total tranquilo y bien ubicado. Es verdad que las habitación con la cama supletoria se hacia pequeña, y que faltaba algo de espacio de almacenamiento, pero creo que es la tipología de los hoteles en Tokyo. Muy bien la relación calidad-precio y la ubicación.

Pros:

Room was compact, but that is to be expected in Tokyo. They provided every amenity we might need including face wash, moisturizer, even toothbrushes and mouthwash. Staff was very friendly.

A standard stay that lacks the typical Japanese polish
Pros:

My stay at MYSTAYS Premier Hamamatsucho was the definition of average. While the hotel is functional and serves its purpose, it didn’t quite live up to the high standards I’ve come to expect from other properties in Japan. If you just need a place to sleep in the Hamamatsucho area, this works. However, compared to other options in a similar price bracket, it feels very "middle of the road." It’s not bad, but it isn’t a place I would go out of my way to book again.

Cons:

The most disappointing aspect was the cleanliness. In Japan, you usually expect a certain level of meticulousness, but this property felt a bit overlooked. It wasn't "dirty" in a traditional sense, but it definitely lacked that deep-clean feeling and crispness found in many other local hotels.

위치는 하마마쓰초와 다이몬역 근처라 좋았고, 편의점도 가깝고, 동네 마트도 가까움. 도쿄타워 근처라 낮/밤 다 산책에 유리함. 두개 역을 공유하기 때문에 이동이 편하고 나리타공항, 도쿄스카이트리 등 시내 중심부 한번에 갈 수 있어 좋음
아침은 일본 호텔 특유의 깔끔한 조식이었음. 직원들 친절함

Cons:

일본 호텔은 항상 느끼는거지만 환풍기가 없거나 약함. 이번 호텔도 화장실은 아쉬웠음. 냄새(일본 화장실 특유의 청소 안된듯한)/환풍기 없음.

What I Liked (Pros):
• Cleanliness & Room Maintenance: The hotel is exceptionally clean and well-equipped for a relaxing stay. I stayed for five nights, and every day my room was refreshed with clean towels and new bedsheets. The staff was very diligent in refilling toiletries—even items like razors were replaced immediately if used.
• Quiet & Peaceful Atmosphere: Despite being a family trip, I found the hotel environment very calm and quiet, which was perfect for resting.
• Great Location: The location is ideal. It’s less than a 10-minute walk to the train station. The path is flat, easy to walk with luggage or kids, and the neighborhood is peaceful without being overcrowded.
• Convenience: There are several convenience stores nearby (7-Eleven, Lawson) and many restaurants in the vicinity.
• Thoughtful Housekeeping Policy: I appreciated the trash management; staff only took what was in the bin, so items I left out weren't accidentally discarded. Also, being able to leave finished food trays outside the room helped keep the room smelling fresh.
• Exceptional Front Desk Support: I must give a huge thank you to the Front Desk team. When one of my children fell ill, they were incredibly helpful in contacting local English-speaking clinics and hospitals, ensuring I felt confident in case of an emergency.
• Flexible Policies: The late checkout policy (with a fair hourly fee) and the highly secure luggage storage service on our final day were very professional and convenient for a family with many bags.

What I Disliked (Cons):
• Specific Staff Issue at Breakfast: My experience was unfortunately marred by the unprofessional conduct of a specific male staff member at the breakfast restaurant. He is recognizable by his middle-parted long hair at the front (not long all over) and consistently wore a face mask.
• Unfriendly and Rigid Interaction: On our first morning, we arrived at 9:31 AM (just one minute past the 9:30 AM last-entry rule) due to severe jet lag and exhaustion from traveling with two young children. Despite having pre-informed another staff member that we were on our way, this particular gentleman showed visible frustration. He was quite rude, shouting "No, no, no!" when we attempted to find a seat and insisted we follow a specific path. He later approached me with an impolite tone, saying, "Next time, come on time." I chose not to respond to maintain a peaceful atmosphere for my children, but his lack of empathy was disappointing.
• Inconsistency on the Final Day: On our last day, while I was stressed and coordinating with the Front Desk regarding my sick child, this same staff member approached us again at 9:50 AM. With the same unfriendly demeanor, he pressured us to hurry and "deal with the child" who was already seated, making the experience very uncomfortable.
• Contrast with Other Staff Members: I want to clarify that this behavior was not representative of the entire restaurant team. On other mornings, I observed different staff members who were much more understanding and hospitable. I saw them welcoming other guests (including Western travelers) who arrived slightly past the 9:30 AM cut-off with kindness and flexibility. It was clear that the issue lies solely with the professional conduct of that one specific individual.
• Recommendation for Management: The hotel provides excellent services overall, but I strongly suggest that management provides additional hospitality training for this particular staff member.

Clean rooms, very quiet neighborhood

It was in a pretty quiet area. So it was hard to find food in the evening on a Sunday, when we arrived. Breakfast was the exact things, every single day. No variety. So it got old 4 days in a row
