Troutbeck Resort

Room 39 was luxurious. I slept like a baby. I have been coming to Trouteck for almost 40 years and I still love the service, the peace and the quiet. Keep it up!

Of the hotels in the area that are known, this is one of the best by local standards. It is endowed with magnificent surroundings in the mountains.

Loved the peace and tranquility of the destination...enjoyed the friendly service of the staff. Great venue for a business trip or family getaway.

Excellent workation, l loved the room it was clean and warm. l l absolutely love the eastern highlands. I travelled foe work but l got time to drive around and appreciate the beautiful scenery around.

This is one of the best hotel and destination suitable for business and relaxing with fresh air and natural vegetation.

There we were with the Chidren ready to enjoy the mountain resort, take in my Son's birthday and take out 2025. Fungai kindly organised the cake, the hotel staff sang for him at breaklast together with some friends who were also holidaying there. Housekeeping did a lovely birthday wish with rose petals on his bed and gave him a fruit bouquet. Thank you, thank you! Activities enjoyed. Pity there is a buidling that looks the part but no squash. Volleyball court needs attention. As does the a la carte menu. I am one for a hot beverage maker and what better place than in the misty environs but I didn't see it. I did see the fireworks though and had a great time joined by my Brother, some of his family and Vazukuru. It was second time around and we are not ruling out a third. it would be good though if by the time that happens, the hotel has ruled out some of the concerns here by sorting them!

I have been visiting annually for the last 20 something years with Triathlon Zimbabwe, The service is always excellent. And it is stunningly beautiful.

We really enjoyed the scenic environment which was very relaxing and soothing after a long year. The resort staff were attentive and polite, the food was ok and the rooms too. We received a lot on information on on site and off site activities which made our stay very enjoyable and the kids enjoyed the gaming room and the swimming pool as well

Excellent location, scenery and lake-view rooms that open up directly towards the lake. Very friendly and helpful staff, especially the porters who are always on hand to help. We enjoyed the boat cruise and canoe experience which we recommend to fully appreciate the beauty of the hotel's amazing location. Very good quality sleep and shower facilities with variable pressure shower with lots of hot water. Resort rating was slightly let down by lengthy check in and room not being ready at check in time, check-out was very long, there were limited activities for children (no quad bikes for children which they would have enjoyed), disrepair of some room facilities. We expected better from a 4-star resort. Other than that, it was a memorable stay and I still recommend it. I am willing to give Troutbeck Resort another visit in a year's time to see if they have made improvements to my concerns for me to give them all 5 stars.

The hotel is magnificent, and the staff is very welcoming and professional. I enjoyed both the stay and the food. The hotel is quite suitable for business, leisure and as a getaway from all the noisy, busy areas. It is also quiet with good, unique weather. You get an unique experience in your own way.

I had a lovely weekend with my wife...beutiful views...great service...highly recommend this resort...there are also several activities to do...wanted to play a round golf but time was not on our side.
