Your reception or lobby desk, takes long to answer calls. Flavor Restaurant doesn’t pick up calls and elevators or lift are very slow. Staff during breakfast are great.
The Executive Lounge is a joy. Gwen, Gryn, and Rich were so attentive and make out time in the lounge so relaxing. Thank you!
Big standard room in the executive floor. Clean crisp and well appointed. The lounge could sometimes be crowded for cocktails but depends on the day of the week. The executive lounge was wonderfully attended Gryn, Gwen, and Rich. Thank you for making my stay at the lounge enjoyable.

I recently stayed at Holiday Inn & Suites Makati from 1–10 February 2026 for a work trip, and it was an outstanding experience.
The location is hard to beat. Being directly connected to Glorietta and Ayala Malls made everything incredibly convenient, whether grabbing a quick meal, picking up supplies for working. The ease of getting in and out of Makati also meant a smooth daily commute to the Port of Manila, which saved valuable time.
One unexpected highlight was the gym. The Lifecycle stationary bike has a functioning power meter and paired seamlessly with my heart rate monitor, allowing me to maintain my structured workout routine during an extended trip. That bike alone will bring me back on my next visit to Manila.
Access to the private 18th-floor lounge was another major plus. Having breakfast and dinner there most days added both convenience and comfort, and the panoramic view of Makati is a great way to start the morning. The lounge team, especially Mariel and Ice, were consistently welcoming and attentive. Small touches, like ensuring my water bottle was topped off with ice before I headed to work, made the stay feel personal and thoughtful. Thanks Team, you are the best.
For business travel in Manila, this hotel delivers on location, service, and the little details that make a demanding trip smoother. I’ll definitely be returning.

Room Attendant and Front Desk were great.
Flavors Restaurant staff were not good and the food was mediocre. I ended up vomiting after eating at their dinner buffet on Feb 19. The waitress gave my table to another guestcwhile I was getting dessert from the buffet.

The room and our room attendant, Mher, made our stay great. I was very disappointed with the Buffet service personnel and the food choices. It was not to the standards I expected for IHG. I had some cold soba and green salad on Thursday, 2/19, and I ended up throwing up with very bad stomach pain and chilling all over my body after 3 hours from dinnertime. That's how awful it was. Service member gave my table away as I was grabbing more food from buffet - that was very stupid of them. I have an IHG Rewardscard and I double checked that the front office had it but the Buffet service people always asked for it without checking my file. Not good set ice at FLAVORS.
