Breakfast was delicious and piping hot
Pros:

The hotel was lovely and clean and the staff were very attentive

Cons:

No hooks on the back of doors for coats or towels. Also a full length mirror would be a good addition

Served the purpose we needed it for. But could do with a bit of TLC.

Staff were lovely.
Breakfast was good (with the exception of coffee).
Bed was comfy.
Key for late access.

Cons:

Bathroom tired. Wood rotting.
No frosted window in bathroom. Window right at shower and window overlooks the beer garden.
Could have done with bottled water in room.
Room was noisy- room next door slammed door throughout night and floor boards creak through, which was very noisy through the night. I think it was the dog walking back and forth?

Great location, friendly staff, needs deep clean
Pros:

Staff really friendly. Location perfect.

Cons:

Lack of cleanliness in room and corridors. Musty smell in corridors, definitely need repainting and a deep clean.
Bathroom could have been cleaner
Area looking out of bedroom 6 window left a lot to be desired, didn't Instill confidence, especially as fresh had been delivered there and left outside .
Dirty condiments holder at breakfast.

Excellent short stay with very good food. One of the best evening meals I’ve had throughout Scotland at a very reasonabl

The staff, location, cleanliness and food were excellent.

Cons:

We were staying in a party of 8 across 3 rooms. One of the couples in our party had a very nice double room however through the night they did not sleep very well due to some sort of constant noise from an extractor fan somewhere in an adjacent room.
