An extremely comfortable stay with excellent staff
Pros:

Central location for exploring Biggar in a traditional pub.
Room was comfortable and spotlessly clean.
The standout of the stay was undoubtedly the staff who were very welcoming and friendly

Cons:

Would love breakfast to be served at least until 9.30am just felt 7.30-9am was a little early

Visit to meet up with family.
Pros:

From the moment we arrived at an on street free parking space at the entrance door we received a friendly welcome before being shown to our room. Well appointed with all the usual facilities - clean & tidy with lovely bedlinen, plenty hanging space, en-suite shower, kettle for tea/coffee making, wall mounted TV viewable from seating or bed and sockets for charging technology.
Excellent lunch & evening menu available beside the log fire in the cosy dining room and lovely breakfast made to order.
Suggest a foldable suitcase stand in the room could be a welcome addition?

Pros:

The breakfast was good.
The bar area was nice to sit in.
The shower pressure was excellent.

Cons:

The cleanliness was poor. Dirty runner on bed. Dirty light switches. The ceiling light was hanging off. The shower wasn’t clean. The casing around the shower hose was half off. The toilet wasn’t clean.
The bed was small and the pillows were wafer thin.

Great discovery
Pros:

Stayed here for one night as I was attending a concert at the Corn Exchange across the road. Booked online and was no problem, received a confirmation email almost immediately.
Check in was easy and Michael could not have been more helpful. Had dinner before the concert and the food and service was excellent. All the staff are welcoming and friendly. Slept well, room was good with all you would expect.
Breakfast was also extremely tasty and once again the service was great.
All in all an extremely enjoyable stay and would have no hesitation in recommending this establishment.
