Hôtel Hor Europe

Very helpful staff on duty for our late evening arrival. The hotel Is a 2-minute walk from the Gare du Nord.

Hotel room was fairly compact, but nice. Easy access to transportation, but a fair distance from major attractions. Staff was very helpful.

Good transit hotel for Europe star at Gare du Nord; easy access to all public transportation. Plenty of dining establishment in the vicinity. Room is clean but bit tiny; great for sleeping, shower and exploring Paris and beyond

The hotel was really nice and clean. Even though it’s near the Gare du Nord station but once you come inside, it’s very quiet and comfortable. The ladies at the front desk were very helpful with cheerful attitude. Overall a lovely stay.

Surprisingly quiet room despite facing a major street and my room being at the elevator. Very comfortable and right at Gare du Nord for easy to/from CDG

No storage whatsoever… nowhere to put anything other than a handful of hangars
Bathroom door didn’t shut
Air conditioning ineffective
Water wasn’t replenished and cost 4 euros a bottle if asked for.
Area felt like could be attacked at any moment

Convenient location next to the main train station. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and fairly quiet given the busy area.

We needed somewhere to stay close to the train station as we were coming back from the alps and then getting the Eurostar but we stayed 2 nights and had a day in Paris in between. Location was perfect for just that very short easy walk from station. It’s not the nicest areas but had lots of restaurants close by.

The hotel itself was clean and friendly nice communal areas with games and books the room was a little small but was comfy and had good air con and the bathrooms were spacious well equipped and very clean.

My only criticism was the price of breakfast and there was no cheaper rate for children they would not eat €17 of buffet so we didn’t have it there were a few options nearby the one directly opposite the train station was perfect and a lot cheaper but a shame as sometimes you need the convenience of a hotel one.

Property is pretty good but multiple people warned us about the safety in the area

Well located property, close to transportation (Gare de l'Est and Gare du Nord). Our stay was enjoyable. Keep in mind that this area, close to 2 major train stations can be a bit borderline (people loitering and selling cigarettes on the stree) although we did not feel unsafe.

If you're using Gare du Nord or Gare de L'Est, this hotel is in an amazingly handy location. Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean too

Extremely convenient location & great staff

The area is a bit noisy but very convenient.
The room is clean, the air condition working well (super important nowadays in summer time). The lobby is using limited space as good as possible. Staffs are rather friendly.

We only stayed one night at Hotel Hor but we were pleased by the easy check in at the lobby. The hotel is clean, equipped with elevators, and the staff is friendly. I noticed there was some noise from outside late at night but the hotel is also in a convenient area close to Gare du Nord so this wasn’t a surprise. I used my white noise app to filter the noise out. Overall, if you need to stay somewhere 30 min drive from the airport and convenient to trains this is a good place to book.

No coffee machine in room. Good towels, shower and water pressure. Bottled water supplied. Room seemed newly decorated. Excellent position next to Gare du Nord and very close to Gare Est. Neighborhood good for ethnic food, cafés , etc.

Good location for metro and train station. Room was clean but we had a funky odour in the bathroom from the drainage system. The hotel promptly addressed it the 2nd morning and it was better for a few days but came back as bad as when we arrived for our last day/night.The front desk staff were very helpful and did comp one of our breakfasts because of the bad odour in our room.
We had breakfast downstairs 3 out of 4 mornings and hot food trays were pretty empty 2 out of 3 times. 8:30-9:00 am so that was a little disappointing.

Loved our overnight here for early train from Gard du Nord, although there is external noise from the very busy street outside.
Still using 'single use' shampoo etc though 😞

Conveniently located next to Gare du Nord where the Eurostar terminal is, right by a supermarket and neighbourhood is generally quiet. However, the superior room that we got was a little musty-smelling. The toilet is the biggest offender, with a rather off-putting sewage smell. Thankfully the bed and pillow were clean for sleeping. The WiFi is quite poor by modern standards, and improvements certainly needed there. Check-in was smooth and front desk was pleasant and helpful.
