Areeya Phuree Resort

No good at all! I think its the fault of Hotel.com. They had NO idea of guests arriving, more or less closed because of Covid! No room ready, NO Breakfast!! No hot water!
We slept there because I knew it would be hardly impossible to get the money back from Hotel.com !

Après une bonne marche depuis l'arrêt de bus, et un petit moment d'incertitude, nous sommes enfin arrivés à l'hôtel. Le patron accueillant nous a remis nos clés et montré notre chambre qui ne correspondait pas à notre réservation. En effet, il n'ont apparemment pas de lit double dans les chambres en entrée de gamme contrairement à ce qui est écrit lors de la réservation. Les équipements sont sommaires et vieillots, le mobilier également. Seule touche d'originalité. La salle de bain, avec des galets (cailloux) au sol, et une grande (vraie) plante au milieu. Original, mais du coup laisse une impression de pas très propre. Le petit déjeuner, sommaire également, nous a tout de même été offert alors qu'il n'était pas compris. Un bon point. Comme cela a déjà été dit dans d'autres commentaires, cet hôtel à beaucoup de potentiel, mais il mériterait qu'on investisse sérieusement pour le remettre en état car il est resté dans son jus depuis un bon moment.

Hotel tres vieillissant. Piscine eau saumatre .Mais gentillesse des propriétaires et excellent petit dejeuner

vielleicht für junge Budgettraveller geeignet, sehr rustikaler Zustand, der Eigentümer versucht sich auch als Koch, jedoch ohne Erfolg, Frühstück war ganz ok, aber ich hasse kalte Spiegeleier

Séjour agréable car bien situé. Hôtel correct qui pourrait être à potentiel si des travaux de rénovation étaient effectues.
Accueillant mais la 1ere nuit nous n'avons pas eu la chambre qui devait nous être attribuée. Petits déjeuners corrects avec brioche ou beignets et omelettes.... Délicieux.

En tidligere gæst har omtalt hotellet som Bates hotel.

Vi var enige om, at det på enhver måde udkonkurreret Faulty Tower, især da hotellet her ledes af Manuel - invert fald er lederen mindst ligeså forvirret.

Intet fungerer, dog med den undtagelse, at de laver udmærket mad.

Kan absolut ikke anbefales.

We had a nice stay here. The owner was nice and helpful. The first room they got us had problems and they were quick to provide us with a new room. Rooms are lacking refrigerator, and they don't do daily cleaning. Breakfast is not too exciting. The location is nice. Beautifully located by the river. Close to about everything interesting in the area. If the price is right, we'll definitely consider this place next time we're in the area. If the price is right.

pas facile à trouver au fond d'une impasse , nous étions les seules clients sans doute un bel établissement ....autrefois.
Malgré une réservation déjà payée pour une chambre supérieure on nous a demandé 200 baths supplémentaires par chambre (2) ce que nous avons refusé bien sur après une discussion ......difficile.

We were shocked when we walked into the room. The cockroach was running around in the bathroom and the ventilation was really bad. Finally, we decided not to stay and had to find the new hotel that night.

Great Way to Take the longboat to Chiang Rai from Tha ton . Fantastic 4 hr tour. Hotel has seen its glory Day. The owner was very friendly and did all what he cold to make things work and they eventually did. Should have costed 400 bhat and not 1000. Live and learn. Ask to make the free breakfast yourself and you probably Can and have a better result.

Nice location by river.
Hotel staff seemed like they were brand new at hotel management, but they were very helpful. As of 12/28/12.
Room was large, lighting not very good.
Contact phone number from Expedia was not correct. It was the phone number for another hotel!
About 5 minute walk to main road. Tha Ton is a small town.
Water in swimming pool looked toxic.
Seems overpriced.
