A perfect place to stay for decades
Pros:

I've stayed at the Cape Colony Inn as a child and as an adult and it's perfect. Great location, amazing rooms and amenities, and it feels homey, even though it's a motel. I can't imagine staying anywhere else.

Luis is the best GM! And Sheila is fabulous! Great comfort, good price. Nice breakfast and an ice cream truck from Lewis Bros. Nice pool. Very pleasant stay.

Pros:

The room was clean and well-designed, and both the room and the property at large had all the right amenities to make us feel comfortable. We particularly appreciated the microwave and large fridge in our room, and the continental breakfast (and outdoor seating area) was exactly what we needed in the morning. Great location -- we didn't use the shuttle but had no problem taking a pleasant stroll into town each day via Bradford or Commercial. A very nice property for a quick stay.

Cons:

The nightly rate we paid was higher than we would have liked for our budget. However, I'm aware this is not an issue with Cape Colony Inn specifically but rather with Ptown in general, especially during the busy July week when we came -- accommodations everywhere in Ptown are exceptionally high at this time of year. To the credit of the folks at Cape Colony Inn: as expensive as it was, this was still the most budget-friendly hotel we were able to find within town limits, so we appreciated that it was even an option at all.

Wish I could have stayed longer
Pros:

Immaculate, quiet, large rooms, shuffle board, breakfast, pool..it’s a perfect hotel that feels comfortable and homey. The bed was incredibly comfortable.
