Furnirussi Tenuta

Lovely property. We stayed in the presidential suite which was fantastic. Service was excellent especially the barman during the day and the lady who got the coffees at breakfast. Unfortunately I can’t remember their names. The desk staff too were excellent, nothing was too much trouble!

Unfortunately, the manager uses the hotel to invite family, friends and girls who hang out by the pool and who he sits and eats lunch and dinner with every day (wearing shorts and t-shirt) not quite the standard you look for when booking 5 stars. It is a beautiful setting but the rooms are getting tired and were not well cleaned. Denying guests to stay at the pool after check-out and then inviting 15 non-hotel guests but family members to hang out by the pool is beyond criticism. The hotel has potential but needs a new manager who looks after the best interests of the guests and does not use the place for personal use. To not put free bottles of water every day (or ever) is also poor and not five star. The breakfast has a wonderful lady who is in charge of coffee and the the guy who is in charge of drinks who used to live in Denmark is also fantastic and very friendly.

Wir verbrachten zwei wundervolle Nächte in dieser traumhaften Masseria und können diesen Ort wärmstens empfehlen. Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht, wird hier fündig. Nach drei Nächten in sehr hellhörigen Unterkünften konnten wir endlich den erholsamen Schlaf geniessen, den wir suchten. Die Anlage ist ein Traum: Der Pool ist von einer wunderschönen Flora umgeben, was ihm einen einzigartigen Charme verleiht. Das gesamte Personal ist unglaublich hilfsbereit und freundlich, sodass wir uns während unseres Aufenthalts stets gut aufgehoben und als Gäste wertgeschätzt fühlten. Das Essen war frisch und köstlich. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, modern und sauber, und die Betten äusserst bequem.

We had our honeymoon there, and we had an amazing stay! They were so kind to upgrade our room and we felt very special. Everything about the hotel was great: beautiful outdoor areas both the pool and the fig plantage, excellent customer service and friendly staff, and delicious food. It was quite secluded so we really got to relax, while still only being a short drive away to many of the beautiful cities.

Lovely hotel and facilities. Delicious food. Large rooms. Contemporary and luxurious fittings. Restful and quiet stay. Genuine 5 star review. Just be aware it's 30 mins drive from Lecce in rather featureless countryside. Once you enter the gates it's a different world.

Beautiful grounds and spacious room! Service was fantastic and food at the restaurant was very good with a good selection of wines. An opportunity would be to upgrade the workout room with newer equipment.

As for the location, it was a good central location to visit various cities in the surrounding area. However, there wasn’t much available locally so keep that in mind.

Very peaceful, relaxing environment. Good buffet options for breakfast. We stayed in a suite with access to a rooftop patio. Amazing swimming pool and friendly service. The room was very spacious. Only downside is that you definitely require a vehicle if you are visiting from out of town as there isn’t much to do around the area. Really enjoyed the stay

Séjour exceptionnel, personnel d’une gentillesse énorme est très à l’écoute.
Seule bémol les chambres n’étaient pas très propres, pas digne d’un 5* c’est vraiment dommage car ils ont tout pour être un hôtel d’exception.

Everythins is correct

Amazing hotel with beautiful surroundings. The room sizes are very generous and beautifully decorated. Even little things like Aircon which is very quiet are top notch. Now the best part- the personelle. I think I’ve never been to a hotel before where everyone was super engaged to ensure that you’re having a wonderful time. At the furnirussi this is exactly the case. EVERYONE was going above and beyond to ensure you got everything you need. They were always nice and attentive no matter how busy it was. An absolute gem and I would go again just for the level of service there. TOP NOTCH

Luigi and his team were fantastic. They couldn’t do enough for you. Rooms are large with good quiet AC and all the facilities you would expect from a 5 star hotel.

Beautiful property in Salento. The pool was a beautiful place to spend a day.

We had a lovely stay at Furnirussi Tenuta. Beautifully done hotel. The staff was kind, helpful and courteous and made us feel very welcome. The pool was gorgeous and quite delightful (our son LOVED the pool). Our room felt luxurious and was quite spacious.
Overall top notch.
Two things to keep in mind-1) location is a bit remote. This was not a concern for us, however if you are looking for a hotel in the middle of town this may not be right for you. 2) the gym is open air. I tend to get easily overheated exercising in the heat of summer so this was not ideal for me. It would have been a bit better if there was a fan for some air flow on days with no breeze.
