Arrived late at night after a flight to be told they had given away my room as I hadn't arrived by 6pm. Why? My credit card had already been authorised by Expedia. Was left stranded in Riyadh during LEAP so no hotels were available and was forced to pay a fortune last-minute for the only hotel available on the night.
No towel in room. Room not.cleaned unless requested. Very limited restaurant/coffee shop although they advertise 24 hour restaurant.
Good service, practichal location, space romms.
need a better wifi and european channels.
love it
Everyone was very nice and accommodating but they have some serious improvements to do.
1. The spelling of their property needs to be consolidated. It is spelled differently everywhere: Wurud, Worud, Wurood, Wourud, Woroud, Wourood, etc. It was really hard getting a taxi every time.
2. Their wifi was so weak that our phones couldn't even recognize there was wifi. I had to go down to the lobby to use the wifi multiple times.
3. Their shower smells very badly of sewers.
4. Their location is a bit unfortunate. The road system makes it so that taxi needs to u-turn a bunch of times to get there. (But Saudi has a weird road system all around so this is not really their fault. A place that would take 5 minutes in the US would take 15 minutes in Saudi)
5. They never cleaned our rooms, even when we had the "please clean our room" button on! We were out touring most of the days so it was ok but still kinda weird haha
6. Their doors don't close well so we had to go back and make sure to it is closed multiple times. (We had two rooms and both were like that) Saudi is a safe country so I wasn't too worried but it still should be fixed.
Good spacious rooms and close to lots of restaurants too.. the staff and service is very average most of them doesn’t speak English, otherwise it’s a good hotel
Conveniently located and affordable hotel. Overall good quality but especially the breakfast is less catering for Western people though still acceptable. Spacy rooms, good beds and choice of pillows.
Great Location & Great Hotel! Probably the best apartment like hotel. The only issue is that the room has dim lights that can't be adjusted. Otherwise, the hotel is perfect!
They have a good locationThere are a lot of restaurants malls and shops nearby
Amazing. The receptionists were so nice, helpful and proffitionals
Wonderful hotel
I stayed at this hotel recently and I booked that there’ll be three people, myself my husband and my one year old child. As I booked the hotel I clearly mentioned my child and her age. Once we got to the hotel we were told there was only TWO baby cots in the whole hotel. I specified a baby cot because it’s not safe for a baby of that age to be sleeping with adults or on her own bed. It was late at night and we had no other option but to put a mattress on the floor in the corner blocked off by the wall and the bed and other other end dragged a sofa to make sure she doesn’t crawl out. This was a two night stay and obviously I want my child to be safe and comfortable. Clearly this wasn’t achieved.
There wasn’t much help from staff apart from their bell boy Raj. He was incredibly apologetic and helpful in running around and finding us a spare mattress with covers and all. He also brought us anything else we asked for quickly and with a smile.
Also their breakfast is incredibly basic, not worth it at all. It’s more of cheeses and foul. Nothing special or worth the money that we paid for. I personally liked the location and that aside from Raj were the only two good things. Everything else was basic and nothing special.
The Salsabil Hotel and its staff were everything I wanted and needed for a business trip, the rooms and facilities were clean, comfortable and only 6 minutes from our offices in Jeddah. The staff were courteous and efficient and nothing seemed to much for them. The restaurant is very pleasant, spacious and the food was good. The gym is very well equipped and spacious.
I can recommend the hotel to anyone and I have already booked up my next visit!
I stayed there for two nights. It was a pleasure and I will visit again.
-Food is good and so reasonably priced
-Clean
-Spacious
-very helpful and friendly staff
-good location (close to mall and restaurants)
-reasonably priced.
Great hotel and great staff. The only issue is that the rooms are not sound proof. Very spacious rooms and great amenities.
It wasn't bad but the check in process is very slow.
This hotel ideal for people whom looking to stay in Riyadh for long time and want enjoy hotel services standard. I used to visit my friend who stay there couple of time. In general room was good and furniture was also in good condition. Their price is so good.
This is a place which is not for me.
I reported problems repeatedly with the light in the bathroom and it was not fixed.
Why do I not get a towel for the floor, which is extremely slippery when wet? The floor is less dangerous when a small towel is placed.
The internet connection drops frequently (sometimes a few times in 10 minutes); Skype is impossible. I have tried explaining to the staff but failed to find someone who actually understands English.
The room was not clean (the carpet looked like my dog vomited on it at several places and I forgot to wipe it off). The desk chair was even worse.
The windows do not keep the noise from outside.
Curtains are mounted wrongly so light comes into the room in the morning, waking me up too early.
I will not be back.
Nice hotel apartment for business stays . Clean, quiet and comfortable.
It is new hotel and new furniture but, ıf you want to clean up, you have to tell them by phone (they dont following clean up paper on the door or electronic cleaning remander
