I will start right from the time I decided to stay at Tamara and wanted to book from canada.
I called administrator office where I spoke to utkarsh Singh and since that moment I realized this is a very professional organization.
Utkarsh made the booking so smooth and stess free with his promt and professional response.
We stayed for 3 nights at Tamara coorg
Before we reach the resort i was contacted by preethy who was so helpful in making our stay pleasant
Preethy was our go to person for everything in tje resort and she always happily guided us
Tamara resort , it's ambience, food quality, beds and linen everything was top notch.
Don't remember names but staff was very pleasant and helpful
Loved chefs mutton biryani.
Me and my wife lived the place and already decided to visit again, this time for 4 nights

Absolutely fantastic!
I will start by remarking the staff kindness at all moments and the attention to detail that in general you can perceive.

The cottage offers a unique view of the forest, giving you privacy while at the same time keeping you in touch with the nature, most of the times what you hear are the birds singing; spending time at your terrace or enjoying the amenities in your room something is ensured, you will enjoy and relax :)

Another great asset is the restaurant, no way you can leave without smiling! The wide range of food options make lovely every mealtime, with delicious, healthy and well-balanced dishes for vegetarians and non-vegetarians, in a charm environment thanks to the well-designed space, surrounded by the forest and again, experimenting a very good taste not just because of the food, but the staff itself that always is there to make sure you spend a great time.

The activities, even if the property invites you to follow your own pace and get rid of any schedule, there is a variety of choices that will also contribute to enrich your stay, from short trek, birding, yoga sessions, apiculture, etc; personally speaking, some of the best are the Plantation Tour combined with the Blossom to Brew, as one person that loves coffee, this was a learning and joyful experience.
I must mention that due to the time I could not explore the sports arena, spa and swimming pool, and yet my visit was so pleasant!
Additionally, you can give a look to their bottling plant and organic garden, as part of their commitment with an eco-friendly operation. Lastly, one of the things I do like is the buggy path, but for running, you could happily follow the route and get some exercise in this nice hilly place.

Had a very comfortable stay at Tamara Coorg. All the staff put in their very best to make our stay a memorable one. Special mention for Rakshith who put his maximum efforts to serve us at the restaurant .Kavya gave me an amazing foot massage and knowledge on acupressure. Overall I give a 5 star to all staff!

The entire experience was fantastic, starting from reception through housekeeping, all staff in the property did a splendid job!

My stay here is so good. The property is beautiful. Rooms are very very good. Service and staff excellent. At the tamra coorg it was my best experience at their spa. My therapist Kavya was extremly good. The facial she gave was fab. And body massage also was so relaxing.

My wife and I stayed at The Tamara Coorg to celebrate our 36th wedding anniversary. From the moment we made our reservation until the gracious farewell at departure, every aspect of our five days and four nights was seamless, thoughtful, and memorable - it was simply extraordinary. Set amidst a beautiful coffee plantation, it was one of our most amazing holiday experiences.

We were fortunate to be allotted a cottage with a breathtaking, panoramic view of the verdant hills — a sight that will remain permanently etched in our mind. The cottage itself was impeccably appointed with an extremely comfortable bed, a cozy sitting area, and a private balcony with lounge seating. Everything was just right inviting us to relax and unwind amidst nature’s serenity. The housekeeping standards were top notch - with daily decorations on the bed and the amenities were of the highest quality. The cottage had a well-stocked soft bar — complete with a filter coffee maker — was a delightful touch that reflected the property’s attention to detail.

Dining at The Deck Restaurant was a true gastronomic journey. The culinary offerings were diverse, refined, and thoughtfully curated to satisfy every palate. A highlight of our celebration was an intimate candlelight dinner arranged especially for us, featuring a bespoke menu crafted with care by Chef Lawrence. It was an experience that was both romantic and unforgettable.

As part of our relaxing stay, Tamara offered us a plantation tour led by a knowledgeable naturalist and rejuvenating spa therapies/. There was a wonderful “Blossom to Brew” coffee session which was beautifully conducted

What truly distinguishes The Tamara Coorg is its team. The essence of genuine hospitality permeates every member of the team. Under the able leadership of the General Manager, Mr. Sakthitharan, and the culinary excellence of Chef Lawrence, the spirit of warmth and professionalism shines brightly. They interacted with us and the other guests regularly making us feel welcome and at home.

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks not only to Mr. Sakthitharan and Chef Lawrence but also to the wonderful Tamara team. The Front Office team of Sahana and colleagues; the exceptional F&B team — Akhilesh, Somanna, Priyanshu, Bidappa, Neeraj, Sourav, Shilpa, Beena, Harshitha and others; the meticulous and artistic housekeeping team — Erappa, Bojamma, Ravi and their colleagues; Uma, the knowledgeable naturalist (and barista); Ricky and the ever-smiling buggy operators; and Kiran and Sneha from Sales - each one of them made us feel genuinely welcomed, personally cared for, and truly celebrated. If we have inadvertently missed mentioning anyone by name, please know that our gratitude extends equally to all. Undoubtedly, the Tamara Coorg Team have collectively set a new benchmark for hospitality.

The travel arrangements - whether it was the pickup from Mangalore, the trip to Tala Cauvery or. the drop to Bengaluru - was very well organised.

On the whole, this was not merely a vacation — it was an experience of warmth, and hospitality. We most certainly look forward to returning and are equally eager to explore other properties within the Tamara portfolio.

It was really wonderful experience in The Tamara Resort, Coorg, Karnataka.
Atmosphere inside the Resort is very nice. Room is so big as well as interior is something different. All the staff is so cooperative, particularly the Manager Suhana. She explained each and everything related to stay and utilities in details.
Food is one of the reason, why you should stay here. Very testy and hygienic food served with unlimited various of menu.
We can recommend this Resort for relaxing and enjoying.

The location is absolutely stunning.nestled in nature and providing the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The resort's eco friendly approach is commendable.no plastic used anywhere, and every effort is made to maintain a sustainable environment . The staff were incredibly polite and attentive. We tried their spa as well Mr Yogesh did a fantastic job. He was an asset to Tamara he made me feel comfortable and at ease

Mr. Yogesh did an excellent massage and it was a brilliant spa session.

The overall experience is great! From the time you're welcomed onto the property till you reach back home (yes - they'll be checking in on your safe travels), the experience is wholesome.

Stay: clean, spacious, well thought through layouts. We stayed in the tree houses. The view was spectacular and undisturbed. No noise, no disturbance.

Food: the chef ensures all food restrictions and preferences are taken care of. Desserts and the live counters were the highlight.

Location: easy to reach if you have a private vehicle. The property itself if stunning and worth taking strolls through.

Amenities: pools are well maintained. The gym is functional 24/7. On property experiences are well crafted. Was the best plantation tour among the 3 we did in coorg. Would have been great though if it were more specific to coffee plants. The walk through is on a concrete pavement - however, making it easy for senior citizens to partake as well.

Relationship manager: Sahana was not only prompt, a great help but also ensured our stay was sweetened by small celebrations for our anniversary.

Found this resort in the middle of forest with vast amount of space to walk around in a safe place to. Loved the stay, food and spa. Took the spa session with Yogesh and it was a soothing experience. Loved the ambience and how neat they maintain the spa and the property too.

Location is amazing, staff are friendly and would go extra mile to assist you. Our chalet was amazing.

The resort is very beautiful and peaceful. The staff is very good and helpful. Food is also really nice. The service here is wonderful.

Our experience at The Tamara Coorg in one sentence was home away from home. We felt that experience was entirely surreal, our stay was for 4 nights but it felt like we have been living here for months. The comfort, the experience was above par excellence. I would like to call out Mr. Sumit, Mr. Sanjay & Ms. Pooja from Housekeeping who made our rooms feel extremely clean, warm and cozy. Ms. Harshita & Ms. Sahana from Guest Relations always ensured that we were on our most comfort. Mr. Manjunath from hospitality and a lot of other service staff ensured that we had a pleasant stay through and through. It would be a sin if I don't give a shout out to Mr. Somanna who made the best drinks and Chef Prasanta and staff who somehow pushed us to eat more than we could, yet crave for more. Their hands and their work is blessed because everything we ate left us without an iota of space to think this could have been done better. After gorging ourselves to almost a food coma everyday during our stay our dread of walking back to the room was always eased by the buggy staff who were there at our every beck and call. Thank you Mr. Abhishek, Mr. Mandanna & others who were there when we were at out slowest.

A pleasant stay and experience for a guest requires multiple hands to make sure the operations run without any glitches, I may have left out few names or few services which either ran behind the curtains to get the show running or countless hands that helped us enjoy our stay. This a heartfelt thank you to all those unknown hands that play important role to make every guest's stay pleasant just like they did ours. However, any ship will run ashore without a strong captain and here the strong captain is Ms. Preethy On-Duty Manager who constantly followed up with us to check on how we are doing and whether we were enjoying our stay. Her work was so good that I never felt for a moment to call and tell I want this improved or that improved everything was perfect. This has made me realize that I will no longer be able enjoy anything lesser than what Tamara offered us.

Now let me talk about the property, I have to say I am short of words to describe the atmosphere you get to enjoy at Tamara Coorg, it is serene and filled with bliss. I have to say I have always been partial towards Tamara Coorg and anybody who asks for a recommendation this is the first name that pops up. The calmness in the air, the pleasantness and smell of the forest in your breath. The call of birds in the morning, the creaking of insects in the night reminding you, that you are one with the nature out here without losing the benefits of modernity. Tamara Coorg has always been special it has been a slice of personal heaven for me. There are a lot of amenities that are offered, but this trip of mine was with an objective of relaxing and rebooting to take a break from our daily life. The amenities that I partook during this trip were cooking sessions, mixology sessions, a Swedish massage in the SPA. I will write more about the other aspects when I come for my next visit.

I am not a person who photographs a lot, I like to live and experience so I don't have a lot of photos from the property. You will find others who have posted or on social media but they don't do ounce of justice to the beauty of Tamara Coorg. Come here and experience it.

We were at Tamara in Coorg and i can’t praise the Hotel enough Bouthika a lovely lady who took care of guiding us through our check in to showing us around the beautiful scenic hotel to every single staff of the Hotel
The Location is very very pretty on the hill surrounded by so much greenery wow,the rooms are amazing and very very spacious they have golf carts to take you around every where if you dont wish to walk .
The Restaurant is serves all kinds of Food , we had two Jain guests with us and the staff went out of their way to make special dishes for them
The Managerof the restaurant Akhilesh deserves a special mention he looked after us very well. The chef there made us special dishes that was not even on the menu . Have to mention the waiters were very attentive and special mention to a few that were very attentive there were two who were from Kolkata midnapur and others too
I will Definitely love to go back there again and love to stay there longer just to relax and enjoy the Hotel .

Our couples visit to Tamara Coorg has been fantastic. Tranquil space in nature with comfortable cottages. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Many activities to enjoy, but also space to relax and unwind.

Our couples massage at the Elevation Spa with Kavya and Abhilash was fantastic. We were well taken care of, and left throughly relaxed. Would definitely repeat!
