Die Lage in der Altstadt war genial.

Cons:

Es gibt keinen Frühstücksraum. Nur niedrige Sessel mit Mini- Tischen an denen man zum Frühstücken sitzen muss und davon viel zu wenig.

Cons:

In bagno cieco non c’era l’aspirazione, la stanza piccola. Per arrivare in stanza bisogna prendere 2 ascensori e svariate rampe di scale. Nel bagno non c’era il balsamo , il frigorifero è in generale troppo scarna di utilities.

A exceptional stay
Pros:

Every thing was perfect, location size of room.comfy bed (very important) cleanliness of bath room. Beautiful shower. Spotless room big thank you to cleaning lady. Very quiet considering we were right on the road side. Reception staff very informative. A great stay would recommend any time

Memorable Motel One
Pros:

The Motel One chain is a recent discovery for us having stayed with them in Manchester and London. When we saw they had a presence in Edinburgh we knew what to expect and weren’t disappointed.

There is a large bar/reception area with large windows to watch the world go by, a perfect spot for a tipple watching the ‘influencers’ line up to take photos of stunning Edinburgh.

There is a decent choice of offerings at breakfast and it can feel a little chaotic. Self service breakfast is not our favourite option however there was plenty of choice to fuel us up for a day sightseeing.

Our room was lovely, not huge, however as we have found with this chain, the design is thoughtful to ensure all the space is utilised. The shower is great with options on the shower head to target even the most achy back and shoulders. Tasteful furnishings added to an enjoyable, comfortable stay.

All the staff were really friendly, nothing was too much trouble.

A hop, skip and jump from the station makes this an enviable location.

Highly recommended.
