I would go stay again.
Pros:

The friendly helpful front desk staff gave great suggestions about what to do and places to see. Breakfast was phenomenal with fresh fruit, hot egg and meat choices that were varied, fresh bakery and great coffee. The breakfast staff were friendly and quick to replenish food items. Cookies or trail mix options were great surprise.

Cons:

The location had access to a great trail and was located close to Bar Harbor.

Well-located hotel, good breakfast, but rooms with poor soundproofing
Pros:

The hotel is in a great location, just a few hundred meters from Bar Harbor and a few kilometers from the entrance to the national park. The bed was quite comfortable, and the room was well laid out, with a large bathroom. The free parking in front of the hotel is very convenient. Finally, the breakfast is very good, featuring fresh fruits and a wide selection of savory and sweet options. Breakfast is included in the room rate, and the dining room is very pleasant.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the hotel isn't very well soundproofed. We could hear the neighbors, especially the ones above our room. The floorboards creaked every time someone walked above us, and it was often keeping us from sleeping. Unfortunately, these guests got up at 5:45 a.m. … yet, when we arrived at the hotel, we had specifically mentioned that we were very light sleepers and would have appreciated a room in a quiet part of the hotel. The person at the front desk didn’t change the room she had assigned us and left us in that ground-floor room (even though the hotel was barely full, being off-season). It’s a pity because she could have given us a room with no neighbors above nor around, or on a higher floor. Also, please note that the spa and hot tub don’t open before Memorial Day weekend (this was mentioned on the website, but we hadn’t noticed it before booking, that’s our fault). Finally, the hotel is quite expensive, but that’s generally the case with accommodations in Acadia; on the other hand, breakfast is included in the room rate, which is very convenient.

Automatic doors when entering the hotel with luggage was nice and not common. Bed was comfortable. Location to the park and downtown Bar Harbor was convenient. Staff was friendly.
