we stayed for 6 nights to explore Acadia NP hiking every day.
Pros:

loved the backyard with the fire pit and access to the woods/trails. walkable distance to town.

Clean and comfortable, but no campfire as advertised.
Pros:

Friendly staff, really clean facilities, comfortable bed, nice breakfast and afternoon snacks, we loved the outdoor area with games and the playground as well.

Cons:

No smart TV (so no netflix or other apps available). I'm not a fan of the very bright daylight/cool tone light bulbs they had in the room it was really harsh (I only bring this up as booking.com specifically asked me about the lighting in the rooms). Also, they advertise a campfire every night but when we were there the staff decided it was "too cold" to do one (it was a gorgeous, clear, wind-free night and 43 degrees) and despite myself and the other guests agreeing we would all like an outdoor campfire, we were easily dismissed. It sounds silly but I booked this place specifically because they offer outdoor campfires because my kids love them, and they were devastated. The manager confirmed with me at check out that they should happen nightly unless it is raining or really horrible weather, but it seems that unless someone is there to enforce it, whoever is working can just decide to not have one of it doesn't suit them.

Overall great stay
Pros:

The breakfast variety was good, though the scrambled eggs didn’t taste like real eggs. On the plus side, the fresh blueberries, oranges, and bananas were excellent. The coffee was a bit weak and watery, but I loved that they provided trail mix on some days on the ground floor but apples, paper cups, plates, and utensils on every floor. There is also a convenient water refill station on the ground floor. As a nice bonus, they even provided stamps if you ask for postcards, and the AC worked great.

Cons:

The housekeeping staff was highly inattentive during our stay. Our used food trays and drinking cups were left in the room, and the tissues were never replenished when we ran out. Additionally, the trash cans were not emptied. Most concerningly, our bedsheets had a blood stain on them, though fortunately, they were replaced the following day.

When guests walked across the floor in their room (326) above ours (226), it sounded like a bull elephant. Avoid staying in Room 226.

What a wonderful place to stay to see Bar Harbor.
Pros:

So many great amenities from cookies at check in to cheese crackers and hot cider to s’mores to a lovely breakfast in the morning. The personal texts asking if we had everything we needed was a great touch.

Cons:

Nothing it was excellent.

Perfect finish to an amazing vacation

It felt like we were on a cruise ship. The staff was friendly, professional and attentive. When we come back to Bar Harbor again, we will stay here.
