Food was good. Some what seemed like organization problems. Asked for towels, told no problem but then they didn’t show up so I went to the desk later and they were brought up. Also there was a computer glitch with our car. And

Great valet service
Pros:

The valet service was very fast, and the staff was wonderful. Kailan was quick to ensure that my vehicle was ready for me on time, which I really appreciated. I will definitely be usingthe valet service here again for my next stay.

The building was beautiful. The showers weren't 100% clean, and the water didn't get as hot as I would have liked it to. But otherwise, it was 100% an amazing stay. The restaurant in the lobby was a plus!

The Hotel is absolutely beautiful; the location was outstanding; the desk staff was professional, friendly and helpful; the valet was kind and personable; the wait staff in the restaurant was welcoming and friendly; one of the housekeeping staff went way out of her way to help me when I was looking at the architecture of the building. It was nice to see how much she also appreciated the beauty of the structure.

Cons:

I miss daily housekeeping. Let's transfer some of that excessive executive pay to hiring more housekeepers and really treat guests to a comfortable stay! Also, unfortunately, the hotel restaurant food left much to be desired. A good hotel restaurant is so important. I was hoping to invite friends to have dinner there with me but decided against it because I didn't enjoy either of the two meals I ate there. Also, I don't recall a dessert menu, although I may have just missed it.

A piece of history
Pros:

The history of the building makes it. It was a bank from 1886 to 1950s, and there are multiple doors with bank safe locks, especially those at the first floor. Plus these classic worn out stairs, the glass roof and other historical reminders.
Food was great, and staff was welcoming.

Cons:

The "free internet" doesn't allow VPN connections, so you need something else if you plan to work remotely during your stay.

Wonderful Hotel Staff and Comfortable, Gorgeous Surroundings
Pros:

When we entered The Hilton Garden Inn, it felt like we were going back in time. The grand architecture, tiled floors and sweeping staircases of this former bank would make a perfect setting for a wedding. Even more impressive was the staff! From always pleasant and helpful Gracie at the front desk, to the friendly waitress at The Social, the restaurant on the main floor, the meticulous cleaning staff, and the ever hustling valets, we found the staff the highlight of this hotel. Thank you, Hilton Garden Inn, for such a comfortable stay in all respects!
