Important information:

Please let the property know your estimated time of arrival. The reception is not on site all day; we can be reached by phone and we have a self check-in tool.

We ask you to check in with us online. You will receive the link by e-mail 3 days before arrival.

Our hotel door closes at 10:00 p.m. After that, access is only possible with a PIN code. In case of late arrival after 20:00 please contact the hotel at least 1 day before your arrival. You will then receive the PIN code.

An excellent and cozy stay in the lovely Zermatt.
Pros:

I absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Adonis & in Zermatt! My room was huge, adorable, and so cozy. I had a great view of Zermatt and the mountains. I loved the decor, and the staff was so kind, they knew my name and always greeted me on the way in or out. The photos on the listing don’t do this place justice, the room was much larger and nicer than I had anticipated. Location was great overall, only took about 10 minutes to reach the main Zermatt town. I will certainly stay here again next time I visit Zermatt!

Cons:

If you’re coming to ski & brought your own equipment, worth checking out which lifts you are using + proximity of the hotel to those lifts. It was a decent walk to the Sunnegga lift (~20-25min), but I rented my gear so no issue. I believe it is closer to the Matterhorn lift & maybe Gornergrat as well, but I believe the hotel has a shuttle & there are also taxis & buses in Zermatt, but worth researching if you are coming for a ski holiday!

Pros:

Stunning little room I had up in the attic of the hotel. As a solo traveller, I absolutely loved it! Very comfortable bed, I could have stayed in my room the whole trip and not gone snowboarding and I would have been just as content. I loved it!! Front desk staff was very helpful. Ski and boot room in the basement was well laid out, and they stored my luggage on my last day so I could come get it at the end of the day. A short 5 minute walk to the gondola, so the location is great as well. Less than 10 minute walk into the main part of town. I would absolutely stay here again!

Cons:

I didn't pay for the breakfast, I went down the first morning and I couldn't have been bothered. Wasn't much selection, all very basic and no hot food items. I ate snacks to keep myself full until lunch time instead.

Great spot to enjoy Zermatt--short walk to town and to Furi lift.
