Clean with a convenient location
Blocked off the handicapped parking because of painting. But they didn’t paint on the weekend but still blocked off the parking spaces.
newly renovated hotel but poor customer service. breakfast included in stay until 10am on Sunday. arrived by 9:30 everything was gone and nothing replenished.. including coffee or juice. we asked server and her reply was we should have come down before 10am.
Location
The location is under construction and the workers had stuff in the way and was not polite
Renovations are nice, still underway. Appears co-managed with adjacent Home2Suites, we were offered to use their pool if needed while Hampton's was closed. Limited parking during construction.
We didn't realize this location is surrounded by military base--visiting any nearby restaurant would have required a clearance to go on base, which for us meant driving further instead. Freeway work also makes for jammed traffic southbound to get to the hotel.
Our stay there was wonderful. Vincent at the front desk was very kind and professional. I mentioned that was my boyfriend's birthday and if the hotel could prepare something special for him and Vincent went beyond. Thanks!
El desayuno un desastre.
El desayuno y la limpieza
So I check into the Hampton Inn on 7 June for a 6 night stay for business at JBLM. Upon checking in I was very surprised to see the construction going on and was not aware of it but check in and got my room 335, so I went to my room and notices how dirty the hallway was and the trash was overflowing so I continued to my room and as I walk inside I notice that the room was somewhat dirty, trash under the sink in the bathroom and what looked to be mold in the shower, I got a text from the front desk asking about my room so far, so I went and asked if there was any other room available and was told no, so I decided that I would just deal with it and asked to get my room cleaned the next day, which that morning I asked the young person at the desk and they said no problem we will let our housekeeping know to clean your room. Went to breakfast and once again the room breakfast was served in was trashed, and dirty which I didn’t even have a meal because of the dirty floors. Came in from work at around 4 and notice my room was not clean, so back to the front desk who promised me again that my room would be cleaned the next day. This continued each day of my stay. I did a text message that I kept everyday confirming that my room would be clean, and every day it was not cleaned. So today I thought they would clean my room and to my surprise it was not clean once again, I went to the desk and Victoria the assistant manager, apologized and said that they were short staffed and just looked at me like, it was my fault they were short staffed, he did give me 5000 points, which does what for me? Anyway needless to say this is my worst experience ever at any hotel brand. They are doing construction so everything is dirty, no pool, no, gym, no laundry facilities, not even hot coffee.
So a 6 night stay with no service, and the management only gives excuses. In my humble opinion, if I was owner for a day I would look into a new management team.
I did file a complaint with the corporate Hilton and asked for a complete refund on my stay and should hear something at some point. Not that I was looking for this type of eek but with the fact that the management team told me that they would have my room clean and didn’t follow through tells me that I really needed to let people know to not stay at this location.
I will go back to my organization and make sure that everyone knows who travels to JBLM to not book this hotel, if I could have changed hotels I would have.
Once again just some friendly advise when choosing a hotel in this area, please choose another to give your business to.
Cleanliness of room.
Construction dust and location.
I have no idea. They cancelled reservation a hour before check in. Still waiting for refund.

I didn’t get a chance to like anything
My room was canceled. I was never notified. Customer service was terrible and they did not help me in anyway or try to help me in anyway they just said too bad.
The rooms were a good size, and the beds were comfy as well. The location was nice as there are many options for dinner, we had some pizza delivered and were even able to walk to a gas station for some drinks!
Beyond the construction which is fine, the hotel is located right next to train tracks which was a surprise upon arrival. Also, the water never got hot for showers so that was inconvenient. We were offered to move to another room but at that point it was 8:30pm, we were settled with two kids and it seemed more of a hassle than anything to move that late when we were leaving the following morning. Also the breakfast was in an odd room and was not great at all. The sausage didn’t seem cooked, the eggs were watery, and the milk for cereal was warm. We grabbed a banana for my son and then opted to go to Starbucks that was close by for breakfast and coffee instead.
I have stayed here multiple times. Staff is always great. The last time I was there one woman appeared in charge was running between the desk and breakfast. She seemed overworked but was friendly and doing a great job.
The rooms are always clean and comfortable. This time I was in a room on the first floor. There was a substantial amount of light coming in from the hallway, which I don't remember in the past. If it's a first floor thing, maybe ask for a higher floor.
All of it
