Important information:

Please note that Melchsee-Frutt is a car-free zone. Parking is possible at the cable car valley station against a surcharge. During summer guests can take the car to certain points in Melchsee-Frutt, only during restricted times.

Please note further that the Frutt Spa´s swimming pool and sauna are only accessible for guest older than 14 and 16, respectively.

In winter, the hotel cannot be accessed by car and no parking is available at the hotel. Guests can leave their cars at the Stöckalp parking lot or use pre-booked garage parking, both at an additional cost. In summer, it is possible to drive to Melchsee-Frutt, where parking is available at an additional cost.

The cable car ticket from Stöckalp to Melchsee-Frutt includes luggage transport (only until 17:20 in summer and 17:30 in winter).

Sehr schön gelegenes Hotel mit grossen Zimmern und einem kleinen aber sehr feinen Spa
Pros:

Das Hotel ist sehr schön am Bergsee gelegen. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit See und Bergblick. Das Zimmer war gross und hatte eine gefüllte Minibar, sehr bequeme Betten, Sofa, Panoramafenster mit allem was dazugehört. Das Bad hat uns ebenfalls gefallen. Eine grosse Badewanne und eine separate Dusche mit Regendusche. Beides wurde rege genutzt. Das Spa ist nicht so gross aber ausgezeichnet, es hat alles was man sich wünscht, wie Massagedüsen, Jacuzzi-Sitzbank u.a.

Cons:

Leider waren wir vom hauseigenen Restaurant sehr enttäuscht. Das Restaurant hat in Bezug auf Finesse und kulinarische Feinheiten noch viel Luft nach oben.

Herrliche Natur und klasse Hotel!
Pros:

Ich hatte diesmal Halbpension gebucht und es nicht bereut. Tolle Abendmenues und perfekter Service von Rezeption bis Küche!

Cons:

Da das Wetter auch optimal war, gibt es nichts zu verbessern! Wenn die Damen und Herren den Standart halten, freue ich mich schon auf den nächsten Aufenhalt!

Tolle Lage, aber noch Luft nach oben
Pros:

Die Lage inmitten der alpinen Landschaft am Melchsee ist einfach unschlagbar für ein erholsames Wochenende!
Unser Zimmer in der Lago Lodge war für vier Personen gut und hochwertig ausgestattet. Bei der Anreise wurden wir an der Rezeption sehr freundlich empfangen, das Housekeeping hat schnell reagiert und im Restaurant hatten wir freundliche Begegnungen mit dem Kellner.
Das Spa, vor allem in der Mountain Lodge, bietet ein schönes Schwimmbecken mit Aussicht und einen angenehmen Sauna-Bereich mit viel Platz zum entspannen.

Cons:

Leider gibt es an einigen Stellen noch Luft nach oben. Unser Zimmer war bei der Anreise nur für 2 Personen vorbereitet, Bettbezüge, Handtücher und Bademäntel fehlten für 2 Personen. Auch im weiteren Verlauf unseres Aufenthalts zeigten sich Kommunikationsprobleme: unsere an der Rezeption getätigte Reservierung im Restaurant ging unter und der Empfang im Restaurant ging sehr unhöflich und unprofessionell damit um. Später konnte der Kellner die Situation wieder retten. Insbesondere beim Restaurantpersonal, auch beim Frühstück, zeigte sich auch häufig eine Sprachbarriere, da kein Deutsch und nur wenig Englisch gesprochen wurde.
Das Frühstücksbuffet erscheint zwar groß, aber die Auswahl hat nicht komplett überzeugt. Zum Beispiel hätten uns frische Backwaren, Schweizer Käsesorten und frische Marmelade (anstelle von Einzelportionen gefreut).
In der Lago Lodge gibt es ein kleines Spa, doch leider wurde die Lage am See kaum genutzt. Es gibt nur ein kleines Becken und eine winzige Terasse mit Aussicht. Ein direkter Zugang zum See könnte hier den Aufenthalt sehr aufwerten. Generell wirkt das Umfeld beider Häuser vielerorts unfertig oder improvisiert und wirken dadurch im Detail nicht so einladend.

Idéal pour un weekend de luxe en pleine nature.
Pros:

Très bel emplacement et belle vue. Magnifique hôtels.

Cons:

La gastronomie pourrait être améliorée. Les matelas un peu trop dur à mon goût. Beaucoup de monde au spa.

Im Zimmer waren die Vorhänge nicht gleich gross und deshalb kam die Sonne am morgen früh rein.
Das personal konnte zum grössten teil KEIN Deutsch (wir sind in der Schweiz)
Das Menu war wenig enttäuschend.
Die Personen die hinter der Rezeption stehen müssen zwingen über Sehenswürdigkeiten und Aktivitäten bescheid wissen! Für den stolzen preis darf man schon was erwarten…

Great mountain hotel!
Pros:

First of all - the staff! Everyone was very friendly and helpful, especially Christina from the reception.

The hotel is pretty new and facilities are well maintained. The main building has “adults” pool and spa area, which was very calm and peaceful.

The room is quite spacious and quiet as well.

Cons:

Hard to tell - breakfast was just OK, not superb (not very diverse or fresh, machine coffee is not that good), but that's a nitpick.

- Der Weg von der Bahnstation zum Hotel ist für Rollkoffern eine Herausforderung!
