A comfortable place and with an excellent breakfast.
Pros:

A comfortable bed

Cons:

No sofa to rest, no stationery and no closed cupboards
Had to prompt them for extra bed for third person although in the booking it was mentioned we would be 3 in the family

Pros:

Very polite and helpful all staff including the restaurant staff and the security personals. Very good choice and variety of food.

Cons:

There were a few mosquitoes, and some more sitting arrangements is needed in the checking area.

Deeply Disappointing Stay During a Difficult Time
Pros:

I stayed at Fairfield by Marriott Ahmedabad while accompanying my father for his cancer treatment. This was already an emotionally difficult trip for our family. We chose a Marriott property specifically for reliability, comfort, and hygiene during a sensitive medical visit.

What we experienced was embarrassing and deeply disappointing.

The room condition reflected clear neglect:

Bathroom hygiene was unacceptable.
There was visible grime and discoloration around the shower fittings. The sealant in the corners was darkened and deteriorating. Rust was visible around the metal brackets. The tile joints looked poorly cleaned. When you are staying during cancer treatment, hygiene is not a luxury — it is essential.

Furniture and fixtures were visibly damaged.
Chipped bed corners, peeling surfaces, worn decorative items — everything looked tired and poorly maintained. This did not feel like a well-managed Marriott property.

Carpet stains were clearly visible.
Old marks near the wall that housekeeping should have addressed long ago. Walking into a stained room during an already stressful medical visit was incredibly disheartening.

What makes this worse is that this was not a leisure trip. We were in Ahmedabad for medical reasons. In such circumstances, you rely on a hotel to provide a clean, dignified, and comfortable environment. Instead, it added unnecessary stress and embarrassment.

This property is operating under the Marriott name but failing to uphold its standards. Basic maintenance and hygiene are not optional — especially when guests may be staying for medical treatments.

I truly hope management takes this seriously. No family dealing with cancer treatment should have to stay in a room that feels neglected.

Old fixtures attracted with dust or water marks or mud. This feels like a 2 star place.
