Six days in paradise
Pros:

Please take my word when I say that we were so glad to have booked at Bocas del Mar. We walked through a couple other resorts nearby and I can assure you that Bocas del Mar was by far the best. Beautiful and spacious rooms with great views from each room. Wonderfully accommodating and friendly staff. Good restaurant. It's awesome that the property helps the government rehabilitate local birds. Both pools were nice and pretty big. We were allowed to check out quite late. The ladies that run it arranged for us to get a papaya when we simply asked where we could buy one. Overall, everyone was absolutely amazing and went out of their way to take good care of us. It really felt like paradise. Sending everyone at Bocas del Mar our best regards.

Cons:

There is nothing I didn't like, but I have some suggestions to make the place absolutely perfect. There was no full size mirror, which I believe is a must. I also believe that a great facility like Bocas del Mar should have at least a tiny basic gym because it's pretty standard these days. A cherry on top would be a magnifying mirror in the bathroom, which has also become pretty standard at good hotels. However, all of this is minor and I only mention it to improve an already wonderful place. Our overall impression was great and we would come back in a heartbeat.

DIVINO PERO CARO

El personal y el tamaño de la cabaña. 2 cuartos cocina. Muy espacioso para ir con familia. La comida muy rica. La vista hermosa.

Que en booking me dijeron que me prometerian una cabaña para 6 personas carisima. Y cuando llegamos alla tuvimos que pagar una segunda cabaña. RECARO ese paseo. Tenia que pagar $5 por persona para que me trajeran la comida al cuarto. Menu limitado y un lio recibirlo al cuarto que estaba en la cima de la montaña. Los botes tambien muy caros. Y si no vas en bote no hay nada que hacer.

Un paraiso en Boca Chica

El hotel está impecablemente mantenido. La ubicación es excelente y la relación precio / calidad muy buena

Que solo nos quedamos dos días ☺️. todo me gustó pero puedo sugerir que si varían el menú un poco más, sería excelente para personas con estadías más largas

J’ai adoré le lieu et le bungalow! La piscine est magnifique. Le personnel est top, merci encore à Dargy, Ronny et David….et tous les autres.

Nos gustó mucho todo hubiera sido perfecto si no tuvieran pájaros sanos encerrados reclamarlo por su libertad

Me dio mucha tristeza ver pájaros silvestres con buen estado de salud desesperados por salir de esa jaula . Los animales en recuperación me parece perfecto pero como veterinaria solo uno vi en mal estado de salud . Deberían subier y publicar los animales que rescatan para dar transparencia y liberar al resto . Nos dejo un gusto amargo esa situación
Hace falta educar a los lugareños en el pueblo también vimos pájaros silvestres cautivos , encima estan frente a una reserva es insólito

Un petit paradis où il fait bon se reposer. Luxe , calme et volupté.

La vue de notre bungalow vue mer ( N°15 surplombant la baie 49m2) , son aménagement neuf très fonctionnel et de haute qualité. Literie excellente.
Les deux piscines dont une en face directe de notre bungalow.
La possibilité depuis l'hôtel de partir en excursion en mer ( Ex: Ile Bolanos )
Une promenade aménagée autour de l'hôtel permet de découvrir une volière intéressante .

Este hotel es una maravilla. Un lugar de descanso en medio de la naturaleza. Destacar las vistas increíbles allá donde estes.
Las instalaciones muy cuidadas y super limpias. Piscina infinity super tranquila, limpia y grande, una maravilla.
La comida exquisita y sin ser demasiado cara, totalmente recomendable las cenas tranquilas alli.
Y desayuno de buena calidad y con varias opciones.
Todo una maravilla! Mejor incluso que las fotos!

Cons:

No es “no gustar”. Simplemente, tener en cuenta que para moverte tiene que tener/coger coche si quieres ir a Boca Chica (pueblito con dos calles pero agradable para salir a comer). Y las excursiones son con barcos/lanchas, ya que si o sí, si quieres buenas playas y actividades, debes cogerlas. No hay apenas diferencia de precio con guias locales y son de gran calidad. Las recomiendo!

Luxury stay with friendly staff, great pool, and unique wildlife.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff really stood out, they made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our entire visit.

The rooms are new, beautifully designed, and extremely comfortable. Everything felt high-end and luxurious, making it easy to relax and fully enjoy our time there.

One of the highlights for our family was the infinity pool. It was perfect for the kids, offering both fun and a great place to unwind while enjoying the surroundings.

We also loved the connection to nature around the property. Seeing the frogs (Dendrobates auratus) up close was such a unique experience, and the variety of birds added to the peaceful atmosphere.

The guacamaya (parrot) project was truly inspiring and showed a real commitment to conservation.

Overall, this hotel offers a perfect blend of comfort, luxury, and nature. We would definitely love to come back!

Da hat ein Profi die Sache in die Hand genommen und ein sehr schönes Projekt an einem großartigen Ort entwickelt. Auf der Pazifikküste das Highlight, unangefochten. Die Bungalows haben Stil und Luft.
Junges Team, verantwortungsvoll und schlagkräftig. Und das Ganze mit einer humorvollen Leichtigkeit. Gerardo als primus inter pares.
