I visited this place and ordered two scoops of chocolate ice cream. It’s a very basic order, but unbelievably, it took over an hour to be served.

The delay was completely unacceptable and shows poor management and lack of coordination among the staff. Other customers who arrived after me were served before I was.

If you value your time, I would recommend looking elsewhere. This was a very disappointing experience, and I won’t be coming back.

Wir waren zum fünften Mal in diesem Hotel, es ist noch okay, leider hat der Service massiv nachgelassen besonders an der Rezeption ( unfreundlich, aggressiv, in sympathisch und versuchen alles zu verkaufen), hauskeeping ist langsam , nur im Restaurant ist der Service ganz okay. Dir Möbel ist veraltet besonders im Wohnbereich und auf der Terrasse mit Whirlpool kannst du vergessen, ist dreckig und zum abreißen geeignet. Leider

It’s a perfect spot for energy reboots and doing nothing but getting a beach relieve. Staffs are attentive and friendly!

EXPEDIA hat eine falsche Beschreibung und falsche Bilder des Hotels online gestellt! Eine Frechheit von Expedia.

- Das Personal spricht kein bis schlechtes Englisch!
- Wir hatten eine Lebensmittelvergiftung - es gibt nur ein Restaurant zum essen und nicht wie beschrieben 3! Es gibt auch nur eine Bar!
- Das Hotel weiß, dass es aufgrund der Alleinlage mehr aufschlagen beim Preis kann und macht dies auch ohne Scharm!
- Der Wellnessbereich war nicht zu finden, als wir fragten bekamen wir am Strand eine schiefe Hütte gezeigt, wo sich kein Mensch hinlegen würde.
- Der "Hochzeitssaal" bricht weg, siehe auf den Bildern.
- DAS EINZIG POSITIVE IST DER POOL UND STRAND. Strand ist naturbelassen und der Pool okay, wenn auch veraltet.

Es gibt nur eine Bar, ein Restaurant und die meisten Getränke oder Speißen sind nicht immer verfügbar. Auf Allergien oder Essensgewohnheiten (Veganer, Vegetarier) wird gepfiffen - hat man eben Pech gehabt.

Für das gesamte Resort gibt es nur 2 Sonnenschirme und diese sind bereits durch mehrerer Löcher gezeichnet. Zudem gibt es für ein vollgebuchtes Resort nur 12 Liegen!

Auf den sogenannten Wanderwegen liegt überall MÜLL! Das Resort rühmt sich, den Gästen vorzuschreiben die Handtücher mehrfach zu verwenden um die Umwelt zu schonen, pfeift aber im gleichen Moment auf die Natur mit der Müllablagerung der Umgebung.

Taxidienst in die nähere Umgebung, sowie Flughafen sind überteuert!

Hotellet ligger smukt og har god strand og pool, service var ikke for god, og maden tog meget lang tid om at komme, personalet snakkede dårligt engelsk.

Property in need of renovation, the furniture and bathroom very much worn but still usable and served our purpose. Our bedding had small stains reliably after every change although I am sure they were clean.

Location is beautifully serene but extremely isolated, so not even a shop to purchase amenities or snacks.

Overall was a lovely quite recluse stay but requires some major maintenance and staff work to meet that 4 star experience.

Hyggelig hotell, men langt fra alt. Slitt, men ok standard. Kjøkkenet og baren stenger kl 21, så husk å spise tidlig og bestill nok drikke. Veldig rolig område, hyggelig bassengområde og en liten strand som er langgrunn. Massasje er det ikke å få, så dette hotellet er for den som vil slappe helt av med en bok, legge seg tidlig og stå opp til en deilig frokost.

I stayed 5 months in this resort from December23 to April24 and in October24. It is my favorite resort in the world! Peacefulness granted. Tranquility granted. Privacy granted. Private beach, most of the times only for me! Great bungalows, all amenities that I need for my holidays. Super bed, super sleep! This is the same as staying in a resort in the Maldives, with such a privacy and calmness that it is true paradise! Staff is great and creates a family feeling since my arrival. Always attended with professionalism and attention by all staff. Fun is also available! Notably remarkable resort, I returm at any time of the year, no matter the weather, as it is always a paradise staying here. The great ocean that is like a huge lagoon...swimming here is definitely an unforgettable experience! The restaurant is located just in front of this lagoon...the breakfast is very good with many options and healthy options, salads, variety of fruits , local foods, homemahe delicious breads and spreads as well, homemade bakery..all delicious. For dinner/lunch there is a large menu (they improved) so there are european dishes, asian foods, chinese and vietnamese options as well, the foods are very good. Many times there is a buffet for dinner with seafoods, great prawns and fishes,and at an amazing prices/person. I have experienced several events at this resort, Xtmas, New Years Eve, the Songkran, The Earth Day, The Environment Day, Children's Day, Teacher's DAy, The Sports Day, Carnival, Halloween...well, fun is always granted and the resort invites the guests to participate in their activities!
I will always recommend Centara Chaan Talay Resort. And I will always return to this paradise on Earth.
I have to point out the ONLY WEAK POINT of this resort, that I have noticed for several years now: The resort must implement a FULL CLEANING of: UNDER the bungalows, in the surrounding areas of the beach including the beautiful jungle that surrounds the resort, because guests walk on the beach on both sides of the resort and there is trash everywhere. PLEASE IMPLEMENT a daily task of CLEANING THESE AREAS. NATURE WILL BE GRATEFUL, and so the guests.

Look its a little run down (needs a bit if tlc here and there). I imagine they shut down or suffered through covid due to distance from bangkok. But we enjoyed our stay. Its quiet. Mostly dog parents/families! Ocean deluxe king - Bed was nice and comfortable. Lovely to hear the waves. Its not a room of creature comforts/luxury as they have opted to make the resort pet friendly. So didnt feel as luxurious as the hua hin grand or even korat/sriracha. But it had everything we needed really. The shower wasnt very warm but pressure was ok. Breakfast was buffet one day and 3 breakfast choice next. Both good, understanding they have less guests in such a remote location. We are a family of three with a 2 year old- id like hotels to recognise that although they are small they still need a towel :) Would be great to not have to request that. A broom would be handy to brush away all the sand each day so you dont end up with a sandy bed but I understand most people prefer to have their room cleaned. We would normally clean every other day and do it ourselves in between. Outdoor Jacuzzi would benefit from a cover perhaps to prevent it getting dirty. But beach was lovely. Be aware of toxic jelly fish. Id recommend kids use pool instead and just play on the beach :). Stray cats - id thoroughly recommend resort gets the females spayed and vaccinated. Its the only way to control the population and have safe cats on the property. This is a place to be remote and peacful. Do not expect 7/11 and restaurants nearby.

Our stay in this hotel was awesome!!! We recommend Centara Chaan Talay if you need de-stressing. It was very relaxing & will definitely reconnect you with nature as it was so peaceful & quiet. We love our stay, kids enjoyed the pool. We would probably come back in the near future if there’s an opportunity.

Pristine place to switch off. Beautiful beach, clear waters.


There Is absolutely nothing surrounding the hotel. You only can eat at the hotel. Unless you have a vehicle.

Staff is very good.

Place could be kept in better condition. Rooms a bit dusty and old.
I would return just for the location.

The resort has some great potential, but unfortunately in need of maintenance. It looked quite run down, and cleaning was not great either. But the beach is amazing, and the staff did their best. Restaurant not great, but decent. Without your own vehicle this place is quite remote, and we had some trouble getting transportation on short notice.

The staff make everyone feel comfortable.

สิ่งที่โรงแรมควรปรับปรุงก็คือ ห้องเก่า และโทรม ราขึ้นผนังห้องน้ำ เยอะมาก ห้องเหม็นอับ ตู้เสื้อผ้าเหม็นอับ ถังขยะพัง ฝาไม่ดีด

Facilities are lack if proper maintenance. It supposed to have game and activities but games couldn't be played as it seemed broken and rusty. Staff seem very few.
But food was really amazing, I feel like I came here for food actually

Very nice relaxing resort - enormous rooms with big balcony, right by the beach with nice pool. Always strong waves. Good restaurant and very helpful and friendly staff. This part of Trat is fairly quiet and remote but very nice to visit.

Excellent services from staff. Excellent location and activities. Food are great.
