Incredible location!
Pros:

The location is excellent! Although the hotel is old, they have done a good job updating it while keeping the nostalgia. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They offer complimentary coffee, tea, and hot chocolate in the lounge area. They also have board games available for families to use. We enjoyed sitting in the lounge looking at the water and playing games. There is a Tavern if you are wanting to eat without leaving the hotel. They do not offer housekeeping services but if you need extra towels you just have to ask. We stayed in a room overlooking the water with a balcony and it was beautiful. Again, the location is incredible! Parking is free at the hotel and you really don't need to use a car unless you want to leave the area. Restaurants and shopping are all within walking distance.

Great Location and Friendly Staff
Pros:

Both my wife and myself came to Boothbay Harbor for our 23rd wedding anniversary, as ithis is where we had our wedding. Unfortunately the place where we had stayed when we were married is no longer there, so we decided to stay at the Fisherman’s Warf Inn.

We based our decision on knowing that this place was well established for many years, was centrally located to all the in town places, and had great views of the harbor.

Boy were we glad we did! The price for the room was reasonably priced, the view from our outside deck of the outer harbor was postcard perfect, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Especially their parking attendant who always went out of his way to be helpful as possible. As I said the inn has been there a number of years, therefore it is a little dated, but very clean and well maintained.

With this said, we definitely we be going back, and would highly recommend this place.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean and spacious and had a balcony overlooking the harbour. The staff were friendly and helpful and there is free parking.Unfortunately the restaurant was closed as it was a Sunday, but there were other places to eat within easy walking distance. The breakfast sandwich from just across the street was delicious and we enjoyed it while taking in the view from the balcony. We would love to stay here again, our only regret is that we could only stay one night.

Everything was convenient, loved our room , spacious, private. The only thing I recommend is cleaning the floors a lot better before the next occupant, everytime we walked on the flooring barefoot our feet bottoms were black.

Rooms need to be updated and bathrooms. Beds were very uncomfortable. But the view was amazing. And they still have metal keys for rooms?! Should upgrade to keyless entry.

I normally only do positive reviews but could not let this go. The pictures of the rooms are very deceiving. Room very small. No place to put suitcases except one fold out. No table. One chair. Bathroom the size of airplane bathroom. No place to put your toiletries. Furniture very outdated. The straw that broke the camels back was the smell. The entire room smelt like urine and speaking with other guests they would not move your room. Appears like many older guests stay there a single night as a stop off. We were planning to stay 3 nights. Left the next morning so lost $576. Rude and would not even agree for partial refund. Do not go to on property restaurant. My husband got haddock sandwich (limited menu) and he had one in Portland like we had 2 years ago. This was burnt and I would say frozen like Mrs Gorton’s fish. I ordered $12 bowl of clam chowder that tasted like Campbell soup. Ate 1/3 and had to put hard chewy clams in my napkin. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this tourist trap. Hardly anything open. Live and learn. Beware.
