Don’t do it!
Pros:

Don’t do it! Stay somewhere else. The noise from the bar next door is deafening until 2:00 am. No sleep possible here.

Good place to stay
Pros:

A pretty basic hotel but it was clean and the staff was fine. It is right in the middle of everything in Boothbay Harbor so that was convenient. You can also park on site which saves some headaches. I think there is a restaurant and tavern there but we never used it.

Stay at Fisherman’s
Pros:

Stayed one night at the Fisherman’s Warf on our way further north and had a very nice night. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed on the first floor with a private balcony harbor side water view, we did have a boat in front blocking most of the view but the sun came through in the morning making it very pleasant to sit out there. If you really want a full water view I would request a room in the front of the building where the Eastwind Schooner is docked on the second floor. The tavern is a perfect place to grab a drink by the water ( we didn’t have time to eat as we were going on a sunset cruise). The location was perfect, you could walk to everything. Next time in Boothbay we definitely will be staying there again.

Fantastic
Pros:

This is the best hotel, had a view of the entire harbor. The staff was so nice, always pleasant and welcoming. The hotel is walking distance from everything, centrally located. This was our second year staying there. Will be the only hotel I’ll book.

We had a wonderful stay at Fishermans Wharf Inn. Our room was beautiful. The staff go above and beyond for their guests. Garth is the best. He made sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely be back.

Incredible location!
Pros:

The location is excellent! Although the hotel is old, they have done a good job updating it while keeping the nostalgia. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They offer complimentary coffee, tea, and hot chocolate in the lounge area. They also have board games available for families to use. We enjoyed sitting in the lounge looking at the water and playing games. There is a Tavern if you are wanting to eat without leaving the hotel. They do not offer housekeeping services but if you need extra towels you just have to ask. We stayed in a room overlooking the water with a balcony and it was beautiful. Again, the location is incredible! Parking is free at the hotel and you really don't need to use a car unless you want to leave the area. Restaurants and shopping are all within walking distance.

Great Location and Friendly Staff
Pros:

Both my wife and myself came to Boothbay Harbor for our 23rd wedding anniversary, as ithis is where we had our wedding. Unfortunately the place where we had stayed when we were married is no longer there, so we decided to stay at the Fisherman’s Warf Inn.

We based our decision on knowing that this place was well established for many years, was centrally located to all the in town places, and had great views of the harbor.

Boy were we glad we did! The price for the room was reasonably priced, the view from our outside deck of the outer harbor was postcard perfect, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Especially their parking attendant who always went out of his way to be helpful as possible. As I said the inn has been there a number of years, therefore it is a little dated, but very clean and well maintained.

With this said, we definitely we be going back, and would highly recommend this place.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean and spacious and had a balcony overlooking the harbour. The staff were friendly and helpful and there is free parking.Unfortunately the restaurant was closed as it was a Sunday, but there were other places to eat within easy walking distance. The breakfast sandwich from just across the street was delicious and we enjoyed it while taking in the view from the balcony. We would love to stay here again, our only regret is that we could only stay one night.

Pros:

Everything was convenient, loved our room , spacious, private. The only thing I recommend is cleaning the floors a lot better before the next occupant, everytime we walked on the flooring barefoot our feet bottoms were black.

Pros:

Rooms need to be updated and bathrooms. Beds were very uncomfortable. But the view was amazing. And they still have metal keys for rooms?! Should upgrade to keyless entry.
