Pros:

This is the perfect location to stay in Amboise. The Chateau is out the hotel back door, around the corner and up the ramp. The connecting restaurant was fantastic! We loved Amboise!

A wonderful hotel in a beautiful little town. Parking was in a public lot and we were lucky to get a spot each time we came back with our car. The hotel itself is lovely, perfect location....close to everything you need in Amboise...dining, shopping, etc. The Amboise Chateau and Clos de Luce were within an easy walk. Staff was wonderful, very clean, highly recommend.

Couldn’t have been a better location with Château d’Amboise and Clos Lucé a stone’s throw away! No parking on site, but very close and free.

A very bad experience. bad service and bad hotel

Very bad service. The air conditioning, which had been promised, was not working during a heat wave. Other electrical appliances were also failing as well as bath tub (leaking). Despite these issues, the hotel did not offer any solution or even a commercial gesture. A very disappointing experience, not recommended.

Très mauvais service. La climatisation, pourtant annoncée, ne fonctionnait pas en pleine canicule. D’autres appareils électriques étaient également défectueux. L’hôtel n’a proposé aucune solution ni même un geste commercial. Expérience très décevante, à éviter absolument.

This is a historic old hotel. The room was clean and updated but there was a musty smell in the room. The smell did go away when the air conditioner was on. The location was great but parking was very difficult for that reason.

Inflexible in adjusting stay length
Pros:

Needed to shorten our stay one day due to airline travel difficulties. Advised front desk personnel before checking in of early departure four days prior. They said they would not adjust the stay length and charged the full amount.

Loved it!
Pros:

The stay was amazing! Our room was the best one as it was portrayed on their site. The view from the room terrace is spectacular. You can see the Château Royal D’Amboise, the river and part of the Town. It’s also in perfect walking distance to the local castels.
