Pros:

Absolutely spectacular. We really enjoyed our time at Chateau de Candes. Bertrand and Sam went out of their way to ensure that our stay was as comfortable as possible. Running this place is not easy but the family are doing their absolute best as custodians. They are fully dedicated and committed to making Chateau de Candes a success. Merci Bertrand et Sam. We will definitely be back.

Pros:

Location is excellent. The room we had was new but very basic. There was no wardrobe, no shelves, no hangers - no place for your luggage at all. No cleaning or changing of towls during the stay. Very expensive for what it was. It turned out at the end of the stay that they apparently did not give us the room we paid for - and we were compensated some for that. People are nice and in general it seems like the try hard - but there is a long way to go for it to be value for money. The pool area was nice and quiet in the morning. Spa was fine. Laundry facilities are free and easy to use.

Pros:

No service, support during stay. Same towels for four days! Same garbage etc.. no air conditioning. Locks on doors problematic

Exceptional Hotel Compound
Pros:

Awesome compound. Refined interior design and landscaping. Minor issues are the absence of in-room coffee or snack services. And our room smelled like a cat had spent time in the space.

Pros:

Superbe logement, village très calme, superbe visite.
La piscine/sauna est un plus très appréciable avec des enfants.
Plein de choses à voir aux alentours.

Donc, un week-end trop court. A refaire.

An excellent choice
Pros:

It was the perfect place for our family of four. Well appointed, nice decoration in a beautiful setting. There is a small kitchen equipped with everything you need which was great for cooking for the children. The village is so nice , it's really like a dream. Highly recommended!!!

Beautifully decorated rooms in beautiful location.
Pros:

We will be returning here. The rooms are just what we needed for our family - 2 small kids. A well equipped kitchen immaculately decorated and presented. The village of Candes is a delight with lots to explore and see.

Contrairement à ce que laisse entendre la présentation que vous en faites sur votre site Internet, "Les Suites du Château" ne se trouvent pas dans l'enceinte du Château de Candé-Saint-Martin. Nous finissons nos vacances sur une note amer, c'est bien dommage.

Très joli cadre et un emplacement pratique
Pros:

Les suites sont très joliment décorées et équipées: grand salon avec cuisine ouverte équipée, grande chambre et salle de bain. inauguré en 2012, on voit que c'est encore tout neuf. Le petit déj est servi dans un panier repas déposé devant la porte: café, jus, croissants, confiture... Une piscine à 2pas rajoute du charme au lieu! A mi chemin entre Chinon et Saumur, dans un village charmant à la confluence de la Loire et la Vienne. On y retournera avec plaisir!
