They did their best to accomodate us. Also only charged us for the alcohol we drank which was a lovely surprise. The pool looked amazing unfortunately we ran out of time to enjoy it.
Some of the information online did not match with what was offered. For example there is no resturant on site, therefore there is not 24 room service. The staff did provide us with an omelette for dinner, and they ordered dinner in for us the following night. The breakfast was just omelettes and fruit. There was no milk for coffee, and there was not any soap in the room. However we did find an amazing french patissere nearby and we went there for breakfast.

My stay at Hotel Dolce Vita was incredible and exceeded all my expectations. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making my visit memorable. From check-in to check-out, every detail was handled with care, and nothing felt like too much to ask. I left already looking forward to my next stay.
Great staff who took care of everything from airport pickup to letting me check out late because my flight was in the afternoon. Room was very clean with excellent wifi to catch up on some work.

The bed is a bit too low and mattress to soft.
The towels need to be replaced - need to put clean white ones

What I really liked about
Breakfast was small but sufficient. The hotel is peaceful with a nice clean pool.
A taxi to the centre of town costs $5 at night, there are a number of them waiting within 50 metres of the entrance.
The receptionist, Aliou, offered to take my teenage daughter and I on a half day walking tour through the city, from the hotel all the way down to the Lake., Unlike in other African countries, we were greeted genuinely by all the traders in the market
He has been employed as a fixer by at the least one mainstream tv channel. A useful man to have om WhatsApp during your trip
