The fact they do not have a full swing in-house restaurant for meals and the breakfast was having only 1 protein all through, no variety. The fruit salad though was top notch.

Hotel manager Aliou was an extreme fraudster; he entered our room several times while we were out. We were very suspicious that he had installed a camera in the toilet. Afterwards, he canceled our first booking. This was a subsequent booking; he canceled our first booking on Booking.com even though we had arrived and paid the full amount.
The hotel is nice, clean, and comfortable.
The air conditioning works very well, the bathroom was perfectly adequate, and the beds were comfortable.
Breakfast is simple but very tasty, freshly prepared on demand.
What truly made my stay extraordinary was Aliou, a young receptionist whose attitude and professionalism were on the level of a general manager. He went above and beyond his duties, showing me real life in Bujumbura and sharing insights into the history, political situation, and local customs.
Aliou is the spirit of this place—he’s the reason it feels so welcoming and pleasant.
Thank you, Aliou, for your incredible hospitality. I will cherish these wonderful memories for a lifetime.
Power outages happened during one of the two nights I was there but this is global problem in Burundi, not hotel fault, they are equipped with power generator but due to extreme rain couldn't be used for about an hour or two, but afterwards they managed to launch it and the light came back again.
Located in a very good neighborhood. Calm and nice place for a restful stay.

I had a wonderful two-night stay at Dolce Vita Resort Hotel in early March. The hospitality here was truly outstanding.
A special thank you to Aliou at reception, who was incredibly professional, friendly and helpful. His English is excellent and he really goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome.
The hotel itself is great: an amazingly soft mattress, fast Starlink WiFi throughout the property, and a beautiful bathroom with a strong hot shower and great water pressure. Breakfast was also very nice with a fresh omelette and fantastic Burundian coffee. The swimming pool is another great bonus.
The team even allowed me a very late check-out and kindly helped me print some documents I needed for my trip.
All of this in a great location right next to the US Embassy. Truly African hospitality at its best — I would happily stay here again.
O atendimento dos funcionários é excelente, especialmente do recepcionista Aliou que fez todo o possível para nos atender bem.
Fiz uma reserva para um quarto de luxo duplo ou com duas camas de solteiro. Fomos colocados num quarto de fundos, ao lado de um motor do vizinho que funcionava a noite inteira. Pedimos para trocar para um quarto com duas camas, mas a gerência do hotel informou que teríamos de pagar um valor a mais. O recepcionista tentou evitar a cobrança, mas a gerência foi inflexível. Ora, com o hotel vazio, seria de bom agrado se a gerência nos oferecesse um up-grade de quarto sem custo. Mas eles optaram pela propaganda negativa ao invés da positiva.
No primeiro dia pedimos almoço, que é feito em outro local fora do hotel, chegou 3 horas depois e, obviamente, frio. Só comemos pois estávamos com muita fome.
O café da manhã, apesar do esforço dos funcionários, é limitado, a la carte e com muito poucas opções.
O wi-fi é razoável. A piscina estava mal cuidada e suja.
A localização, apesar de estar a uma quadra da embaixada dos EU, está em uma rua em péssimas condições.
Super établissement ? Très bien situé et sécurisé, non loin de l’ambassade des USA. Personnel très attentionné.

من أفضل الفنادق في بوروندي نظافة واحترام الموظفين وسعر مناسب جدا ورخيص وقريب جدا من وسط المدينة ويقع في حي راقي مع الهدوء والجمال وموظف الاستقبال علي شخص متعاون جدا وسريع الاستجابة لما تريده مما جعلني سأنزل أي وقت ان شاء الله في بوروندي في هذا الفندق الرائع
breakfast was monotonous. they should benchmark. maybe free selection instead of fixed paper choices. rooms they need to invest in new beddings otherwise next time it will be a seedy joint.
electricity and water ... i dont know what to say. they should have a storage for water. water dissappearing when you are showering is not nice ..electricity is a country problem at least they had a generator.

people at least were polite and informative even if their english was wanting.
and comparatively they were a decent hotel.
i will still book there in the future if i step in burundi again
