Absolutely worth it. Exceeded my expectations--prime comfort and convenience.

I ABSOLUTELY loved my stay here. It exceeded my expectations. The amenities, the staff friendliness, the attention to detail--perfect! I loved every minute of my stay, extremely comfortable. Its the perfect location. I feel secure in the space. The AC was perfect throughout the venue. I also enjoyed a multicourse breakfast. Perfect, so worth it. I cannot wait to stay here again!

浅草寺旁非常棒的日式艺术酒店
Pros:

一个开在浅草寺雷门旁边，创立于昭和22年（1947年），秉承“和を愉しむ（享受日本文化之美）”的理念，以现代舒适感结合传统日式建筑风格，卧室窗外是浅草寺，客厅窗外是东京晴空塔，楼下是星巴克咖啡的精致日式小酒店。我们选了最大的家庭房（701 樱），非常棒。房间是日式建筑设计艺术品，里面渗透着日式美学，从光影到物件，都令人感慨。如果多住几日，可以清晨5-6点和夜里11-12点去看没有人的浅草寺。

Cons:

唯一的遗憾是没有微波炉，估计是店家不想让大家在屋里热便当吃。

Erholsame Oase in bester Lage
Pros:

Das Zimmer war geräumig, die japanischen Betten und vor allem die Kissen wahnsinnig bequem.
Es ist ein Ort der Ruhe, mitten im größten Trubel der Stadt. Sobald man durch die Türe reinkommt, wird man empfangen durch angenehme kühle, im Sommer und ein einprägsamer, aber unaufdringliche Duft und die Aufmerksamkeit das professionellen Personals. Nur ein paar Schritte zum öffentlichen Verkehr in alle Richtungen.

Pros:

Great Ryokan next to Asakusa's temple.
The Ryokan offers a modern accommodation while offering the traditional ryokan-style accommodation.
The staff offered an unparalleled service, extremely kind and helpful.
The rooms are nice, not extremely spacious, but large enough to fit two futon beds, a small table with chairs. The bathroom was a bit cramped (causing the Toto toilet seat to rise every time you get in) but otherwise very functional and comfortable.
The view is great, directly overlooking the Kamimarimon gate. The area is really lovely both at night and during the day. Additionally, it's very well connected to public transport, has plenty of shops and restaurants plus you can easily enjoy the temples at night with no crowds and just a stroll away from the Ryokan entrance.
We also had breakfast with it and it was absolutely gorgeous! It offered different dishes every day, was abundant and delicious. I definitely suggest to include breakfast.

Cons:

I would only improve the mattresses as we found them not thick or strong enough to isolate well from the floor.

Starting the Japan trip with a stay hard to beat
Pros:

Amazing location next to the shrine, in close proximity to so much in the area, very comfortable, immaculately clean, breakfast presentation was incredible.
Nice to have laundry facility available and the staff are so accommodating.

Cons:

Nothing. Not one complaint.

I enjoyed staying at Kaminarimon Ryokan, great location, clean pleasant room and amenities and above all really good hospitality by the staff.

Cons:

The windows was oddly shaped and did not open, this however did not really ruin the experience.

Pros:

Everyone were so polite and joyful and I had such a wonderfull room!
The place and the people working at it are perfect !
I've done my check-out a bit later because I've slept too much (I am still very very sorry about this) but nobody was annoyed or angry at me.
I will recommend this place to all my friends if they choose to come to Tokyo.
