Att vi var utelåsta från rummet en natt (vårt rumskort fungerade inte) och de vägrade släppa in oss för receptionen stänger 18.00.

Nödnumret man kunde ringa hävdade att en annan person bodde i vårt rum. Efter 20 samtal till Booking.com och hotellets nödnummer (vilket kostade oss ca 200 dollar), så beslutade vi själva att ta in på ett närliggande hotell (för 258 dollar).

Booking.com kunde inte hjälpa oss med ett nytt rum utan tyckte vi skulle vänta tills receptionen öppnade klockan 09.00 och att det inte gick att hjälpa oss för klockan hade blivit ny dag och då kan man inte boka rum för natt. Vi började påkalla hjälp 21.22 och beslutade oss för nytt rum på egen hand 00.40.

Så vår familj på 4 personer (2 små barn) fick sova ute. Men som tur var hittade vi på egen hand ett närliggande hotell. Efter detta blir vi erbjudna ingen kostnad för den första natten och 20 % på den andra natten av Booking.com. Uselt skött av Booking.com och bara tur att vi hade batteri i telefonen och pengar med oss att ta in på ett närliggande hotell. Tur att det fanns ett närliggande hotell. Tur att det är varmt ute.

Det fanns ingen security på hotellet som kunde komma dit.

När vi på morgonen dagen efter träffar receptionisten, så tyckte han att det var konstigt att nödnumret inre hade ringt hinom. För han kunde komma dit på 10 minuter.

Vi blir sedan av hotellet erbjudna en frinatt av våra 2 nätter + 10 dollar som kompensation. Men efter att vi stod på oss behövde vi inte betala någon natt. (Förutom de 70 dollar för skatt och hotellavgift)

Så vår kostnad var ca 200 dollar för telefoni. 70 dollar i tax på Snooze och 258 dollar hos det närliggande hotellet. Mot vad som skulle kosta ca 300 dollar totalt.

Men framförallt en dålig upplevelse av Fort Lauderdale, ledsna barn och hur dåligt hanterad man kan bli om man har otur.

Vi är ruskigt besvikna på hotellet och Booking.com.

Older needs some updates
Pros:

Location ,Michael at check ins fantastic. Had free beach towels,chairs sunscreen and some beach toys . You can walk to most places . Beach is steps away . They did have 2 terrraces.

Cons:

Uncomfortable beds ,bathroom mirror needs lowered way to high, needs better lighting .

Super Lage, aber nicht viel mehr.
Pros:

Mega super Lage! Strand 1 Gehminute entfernt.
Direkt ein Spielplatz beim Strand. Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten direkt neben dem Hotel. Alles in Gehdistanz. Kostenlose Strandsachen, ausser Liegestühle und Schirme. Freundlicher Gastgeber.

Cons:

Sehr heruntergekommen. Sollte mal wieder etwas renoviert werden. Handtuchstange hielt nicht. Vorhangstange defekt. Alte Waschmaschine/Tumbler.
Vorhang oberhalb vom Bett zu kurz, so dass die Sonne frühmorgens direkt ins Gesicht scheint. Aussicht auf den Innenhof eines anderen Hotels.

We had a good stay, the cleaning person did a great job and the front desk gentleman was very nice and helpful.

Location is good, great access to the beach and restaurants.

The mattress was saggy, I’m sure it’s due to being replaced and every time you moved it had a loud squeak.

Buen alojamiento frente al mar
