An excellent location and the unlimited shuttle service to anywhere in Ubud town are truly outstanding. The food is high quality, and the afternoon tea served at the breakfast restaurant is also very enjoyable. The staff are wonderfully friendly, respond promptly, and the complimentary Tuesday yoga class is better than many paid sessions. The pool in the pool villa is very well maintained, and the sound of the river flowing below the villa is incredibly charming. Housekeeping and turndown service exceeded my expectations in every way.That said, the buildings are a bit old, so small gaps in the doors can allow insects to come in, and the outdoor bathroom may feel a little uncomfortable to use at night. Depending on your perspective, though, this rustic feeling can actually be part of the charm. Overall, it is a place I would happily recommend to both friends and family.

This is a truly magical hotel paradise in the middle of busy Ubud! From the minute I checked in until I was given a wonderful breakfast box for my ride to my early departure flight in Densapar, I was treated like a queen! All staff members were kind and thoughtful! I especially want to thank Dideck for making me feel like a celebrity during my stay. My private villa was absolute heaven with its private pool, outdoor bathtub and comfy bed! I felt very safe and secure even as a single female traveler! The complimentary breakfast and afternoon tea were an absolute treat! So delicious and what a beautiful variety of options! The location is awesome and there is a free shuttle at your disposal for when you don’t want to walk! What a wonderful surprise this was for my short stay—- wish I could have stayed longer! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything!

Very good hotel which has all the facilities and it is centrally located. The breakfast has a variety of menu and they offer free tea with snacks for all the guests which I had never seen any of the hotels. The staff are very courteous and polite. Overall I just loved the room and the service. Anyone looking for a good place to stay this hotel in Ubud is recommended

Everything was excellent

Excellent hotel. Staff are superb- nothing is too much trouble. Restaurant also very good. Great breakfast, complimentary afternoon tea and reasonably priced dinner (although we also ate dinner elsewhere as well).
We had a 2 room villa with private pool. Loads of space for a family. Bottles of water and insect repellent candles provided everyday along with room cleaning. Special mention to Didak (sorry on spelling!) and chap whose name I have forgotten (worked there for 15years so he’ll know who he is!) were brilliant. Booked trips for us to Bali zoo, bike tours, waterfall visit and dropped off/collected us to/from the monkey forest and evening dance show. They even picked us up when we got totally lost in Ubud somewhere! Gave the name of the cafe we took refuge and they rescued us!
Overall, highly recommend this hotel and we will visit again. Thank you!

Beautiful place with great service. Would love to stay here again for my next visit to Ubud. Located in the centre of Ubud and yet quiet and serene inside.

Swimming pool and the library/yoga studio is absolutely beautiful. Breakfast and afternoon tea are really delicious too.

All the staff greet with smile and are helpful.

Location - 5/5. Perfect for monkey Forest, all restaurants, sports bar, Laughing Buddha Bar, Royal Palace and Local Markets.

Ambience - 1/5. Felt like an Air BnB

Food - 2/5. Only had breakfast which was okayish. No need to eat there as loads of superb restaurants nearby

Staff - 3/5. Friendly and helpful

Room - 4/5. Lovely bed, great balcony, private pool, large room with loads of space, bathroom was a bit tired and poor shower

Facilities- 2/5. Gym poor. Reception very helpful. Private pool is a waste of space. Communal pool is tiny

Overall - 2/5Would recommend because location is superb and room is nice and comfortable. But don’t stay longer than 2 nights max!

We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa, 2 floors with a private pool. Absolutely stunning property, with a gorgeous, netted bed and stunning bathroom. Tv showed international channels . The pool was large and deep- they had thought of everything. Slippers, umbrellas, and a stunning view from the top balcony. Bear in mind that this hotel has lots of steps if you're staying in a villa - but room service is available with a smile, I thought breakfast could be better - not as much fresh fruit as I would have liked - great cappuccinos though !

The breakfast is very good and the hotel even provides complementary afternoon meals every day. They also provide transport services within central Ubud. Staff are friendly as well and they can bring delivery to your rooms. In general the experience has been very nice.

Excellent customer service and the best ever hotel I had so far at Bali. Staff are very friendly and polite. They offer shuttle buses/vehicles to everywhere at Ubud. Room is clean and beautiful. The villa outdoor view is stunning. Highly recommend this hotel to everyone at Ubud. ❤️👍

Had an unforgettable stay at KajaNe Mua thanks to the Amazing Staff!
We had the BEST experience at KajaNe Mua, made even more memorable by the loveliest and most helpful staff. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by their top-notch service.
The front desk team was incredibly responsive, especially through their WhatsApp, replies were almost instant, always within 5 minutes. Every call was answered with such positivity and efficiency. Communication was a breeze thanks to their excellent command of English. They even gave us a courtesy call whenever our Grab Food arrived — such thoughtful service!
A special shoutout to Ayu and Karta at the front desk for helping us arrange transport, including the reliable and punctual Wijana, who drove us via the complimentary shuttle service. We always felt safe and well taken care of.
We’d also like to thank Dwiyana and the other housekeeping staff during our stay who worked tirelessly to keep our room clean and comfortable. He brought us fresh water and towels with such a warm attitude — it really made a difference.
The entire team at KajaNe Mua radiates kindness and professionalism. Every time we passed a staff member, we were greeted with the biggest smiles and warm energy. It made us feel truly welcome and grateful to have chosen this hotel.
While the nearby forest means occasional monkey visits, the staff were always quick to assist and help us safely return to our rooms. Their attentiveness really put us at ease.

The hotel is located right in Ubud, adjacent to restaurants, shops and not far from the famed Monkey Forest and Campuhan Ridge.

Our room was a good size with a covered balcony area. We enjoyed breakfast and was also served complimentary Indonesian afternoon tea in our room each day. The swimming pool was well maintained.

We discovered the warung next door (Cafe Wayan) provides cooking classes and had a great time learning Indonesian cuisine with fellow participants from different countries. Yes, you get to eat the results!

The hotel also provided complimentary shuttle service to areas within Ubud, hence our trip to the Monkey Forest and lovely walk on the Campuhan Ridge (must-do to see the lovely paddy fields, there is a cafe with beautiful lotus pond).

Overall, a good value stay and comfortable hotel.

Super warm welcome. Super hygiëne. Taxiservice free of charge. Breakfast super! Nice place directly in centre of Ubud. Beautiful swimmingpool with enough shade if wanted. When we asked were to hire scooters.. they arrange them for you in a split second.

A good property, but showing its age a bit. All staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location was very good, and close to shopping, restaurants and the monkey park. Rooms were clean but showing some age. Breakfast was very good and staff very attentive, really liked the free afternoon tea time. Overall a good experience.

As a very Korean perspective, the internal condition was a bit sad or sad.

But this isn't the only place to the room.

I did some very impressive good experience.

First, run pick up pickup pixels anywhere in the city.
For example, I asked for a pick-up in Coco Mart, and came right away.

Second, I didn't have time to eat breakfast, but I wrapped up the juice and packing juice.

I'll start off by saying that the staff made this an exceptional stay.

Nothing was too much trouble, all requests were accepted and in good humour as well. We had a good rapport with everyone during our stay. The were top class.

Being able to communicate requests via Whatsapp made things so much easier than many hotels we have stayed at.

The spa, the in house restaurant, the breakfast buffett, room service, it was all excellent.

This hotel is handily placed right on one of the main roads in Ubud, but the way the hotel is laid out, you would never know.

We had one of the pool villas that was some distance from main reception and the main buildings, but that just added to the exclusive nature of the room.

There were some small elements that make this a four star hotel rather than a five star. There were occasions when the room wasn't cleaned. We also felt it strange that the coffee sachets in the room were from Nescafe, when we'd have hoped they could have been a local speciality. It is those types of little touches that could have meant a five star rating.

Some of the fit & finishings around the pool area could have done with being updated, but I understand that this is a tough weather environment to operate in and that extreme sunshine and heat followed by torrential rain does not make this easy to ensure that the decking is it's best.

But this is nit-picking, if the opportunity came to stay in Ubud once again, we would have no hesitation to stay at KajaNe Mua.

Fantastic stay. Room very comfortable, including bed! The breakfast was fantastic and not to be missed. Staff at all levels asked regularly for feedback. Great location as we walked everywhere. Also FREE shuttle around Ubud. Can’t get any better.

The location of the hotel is in the middle of Ubud. So convenient to walk to the monkey forest, tons of shops, restaurants and bars. They also provide a shuttle to the open market, which I took advantage of especially for pick up at night. I treated myself to the one bedroom with a private pool. It was nothing short of amazing. It was so serene and relaxing. It was clean and every need was anticipated by the amenities available standard in the room. The staff and service was efficient and excellent throughout my four night stay. The breakfast buffet was varied and perfectly satisfying. I did order room service and it was delivered promptly and correctly. I also used the services at the spa, which were excellent. The grounds were well kept and attended to daily. The attention to detail was impressive.
If I have to complain about anything, the location of this particular room was secluded, which meant it was a long walk up and downstairs at the end of the property, but in the end, the exercise was good and well worth the walk to an amazing room.
I highly recommend staying here. I will be recommending it to all my friends and family. And I can’t wait to return.
