Very helpful and professional staff. Very nice outside breakfast area, nice and clean room with good view, quiet location (you can even hear bird song), relaxed atmosphere, a few km from central Ooty. Small hotel in decent condition, offers tours and more to surroundings

The food was amazing, all things we tried were consistently good, although there were some issues in getting orders right. Staff was friendly, overall a pleasant stay

good place, friendly people. need to have your own vehicle to go up and down .walking to town is not possible.

Overrated(4stars) for the standards of this Hotel
complimentary breakfast can be less quality/quantity and not much to choose if you are used to english breakfast
Room heating is not included which cost 250/heater/night and not so good quality which emits dry hot air
We received 3 bills for service, 2 computerized bill in the name of the hotel and one unofficial without VAT or legal sales bill for water bottle and room heaters
Road to the hotel is horrible to an extent you might have to risk your car ending up in garage.

The location is really out of the world, I have been to booty many times in the past, but this was the first time I been here and totally new side of ooty. Its right for people who like silence, peace and enjoy the chill weather. the roomsare spacious and very comfy with clean bathrooms.usually hotel roomsare compact and cramped,but this hotel rooms are very spacious. I will def come again.

Positives - spacious rooms, great staff, great view from their small garden
Negatives - kitchen is not open thru out the day, very small garden, no balcony in rooms

Bottom line - from some one looking for decent service and reasonably no frills place, this would fit the bill

Prompt Service, clean rooms, great food, smiling & welcoming staff. Rooms were very spacious. Only thing I could crib about, was the Aircon. Just kidding.... Made my stay here memorable. I will definitely recommend staying here.

Ooty is such a lovely get away. This hotel is in a lovely location, the service was good too, included breakfast. We enjoyed our stay here, however it is on the expensive side by Indian standards.

The rooms were clean except for cobwebs on the ceiling ( room 111). The toilet cleaning needs to be upgraded ( commodes are not properly cleaned daily). The room service needs to be trained up with proper manners ( availability of adequate eating and serving spoons, salt & pepper, napkins, soya sauce/vinigar with soup etc should be automatically served. The hot water availability should be lengthened ( only 2 hours each in morning/evening is very less). More variety should be there in the breakfast menus. The availability of all chennels in the TV should be taken care off.

This resort is located on hill top which has amazing view and also hotel is neat and tidy.
Food is good
Staff is helpful
I think rates are reasonable compared to other places in Ooty

Cons:
We faced few issues with hot water supply
Since Hotel is on hill top you need to drive along uphill in a narrow road for a while (about 10 to 20mins)
Directon boards to hotel need to be well placed from center of ooty.
Above issues are minor which are managable

This was an excellent trip .The hotel was in a very good scenic location although a bit away from the city.The rooms were neatly done and all the staff were really cordial .
One word is its a value for money hotel.

a reasonable hotel but way out of ooty and much higher in altitude which means much colder , also the transport to and from hotel is very limited , as you have to wait for a taxi to come from ooty .but the manager and his staff were very helpful in everything we asked

Amazing view, Good food for the given money, Good hotel to stay. Only issue is approach road to hotel is not that good.

Decent for the price paid. Large accomodartion - each room can easily accomodate a small family. a top a hill so far from the crowd. Not a bad experience as they also have a small kitchen

It was difficult finding the hotel - need more Hotel sign boards. The hotel is located at the very top of the hill so it has a wonderful view. The rooms are large and clean but no heater, when asked the manager said we could get a heater at an additional charge. There is a kitchen counter but no chairs to sit and eat your meals. Breakfast was served out in the parking lot with chairs set up but no table to place your plate and cup. I did like the idea of eating out in the open as we got o meet other people in our same situation made some new friends. The hotel manager on duty arranged for our Auto ride to the lake but I believe he gauged us for a 2 kilometer round trip we had to pay Rs. 450, after talking to the new friends from there, they said it should have only cost us Rs. 160.

The overall experience was too good. If someone wants to relax and enjoy hills, this is one of the best locations in Ooty. Staff is courteous and work dedicatedly as a Team. The food from inhouse kitchen is delicious, reasonable and served into your room. The hotel is located a lil far from the city, so for up and down to the city, the cab is chargeable. In case, one has his own vehicle, then I would recommend this to be a worth stay. Kudos to the Delight INN team and keep up the good work.
