A good hotel in a very expensive town
Pros:

Handy shuttle service from station. Wonderful public area with seating and bar to relax.

Cons:

Decor in bedrooms not consistent with hotel; very basic furnishings which did not meet 4star billing. Lovely breakfast but buffet evening meal was not good value for money. Food and drink prices need to be better advised. Can be a shock if new to Swiss prices

Pros:

Restaurant und der gesamte Erdgeschoss Bereich sind sehr schön. Frühstück ist gut. Parken auf dem Parkplatz ist wohl kostenlos. Lage gut Zimmer sauber

Cons:

Die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist einfach auch wenn nichts fehlt. Betten sind eher klein. Preis Leistung stimmt irgendwie aber nicht auch weil der spa Bereich weiterhin geschlossen ist und trotzdem der voll Preis aufgerufen wird. Zudem ist das Hôtel teilweise noch eine Baustelle

A stay that fell short of expectations despite the beautiful setting and high hopes.

Cons:

We booked Hotel Laudinella with genuinely high expectations. St. Moritz is an expensive destination, so the pricing was understandable, and the hotel’s five in‑house restaurants were a key reason for choosing it. We assumed this reflected strong quality and guest care. However, our stay on May 14th — a public holiday with unusually bad weather — turned out more disappointing than expected.

Arriving before check‑in, we went to the restaurant for a late lunch, but no staff acknowledged us for a long time after passing us menu by the table, not even with water or a greeting. We eventually left, and noticed another family also waiting without service. Holidays and poor weather can challenge operations, but basic hospitality should still be consistent.

Check‑in was smooth, yet the front desk felt stiff and inexperienced, offering only reactive responses. Given we were staying just one night on a snowy public holiday, proactive guidance would have been helpful. The spa was under renovation, and the alternative suggested — a nearby community pool — was not free as stated.

The room was very simple for the price. The view was lovely, but the interior felt plain. In our Modern Family Room, the sofa bed collapsed when I lay on it after checked in the room, revealing dust inside. Service did respond quickly and fixed it efficiently. The bathroom ventilation fan was also loud and couldn’t be turned off, though I was too tired to call again.

We left the next morning feeling the experience did not match the cost or the hotel’s reputation. Weather and the holiday may have contributed to challenges, but for one‑night guests, the lack of preparation, accuracy, and proactive service made the disappointment understandable. Difficult circumstances are often when a hotel has the best chance to impress — unfortunately, that opportunity was missed.

Es ist einfach zu teuer für die Leistung

Personal war sehr freundlich
Frühstück war grossartig

Cons:

Bad darf durchaus modernisiert werden und im Zimmer war es einfach zu heiß zum schlafen so das wir mit offenem Fenster schlafen mussten

Pros:

Alles neu, sehr schön renoviert, die Zimmer sehr groß und sauber. Abholung und Transport vom und zum Bahnhof hat super funktioniert. Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr lecker und großzügig.

Cons:

Keine Info bezüglich Gästekarte, erst am 2. Tag und nach ausdrücklicher Frage wurde ein Mail mit dem Antrag für die Gästekarte zugesandt.
