Fantastic hotel in Garlenda

This was an amazing hotel, such a beautiful reception - every time I walked through I saw something different, it’s just gorgeous
I would definitely return
The food was sublime, the staff incredibly friendly and helpful
Our room was beautiful, large with plenty of wardrobes, beautifully appointed bathroom - my only complaint (and it’s a small one!) is the hairdryer in the bathroom is next to useless - would help if they put in a normal hairdryer!
Everything else was perfect
The pool area is gorgeous, lovely sunbeds and poolside service for drinks and sandwiches
Loved every minute we spent in the hotel and was very sad to leave!
You know when you have arrived in this Italian hotel by the Vespa in the reception!

Qualche problema al check-in perché ci avevano riservato una camera superior non adatta ai cani, a detta della reception, ma poi alla fine, per mancanza di alternative, ci è stata concessa. Personale fantastico, sempre presente, gentile e premuroso. È stata soddisfatta qualsiasi richiesta. Struttura molto curata e gradevole. Stanze un po’ piccole, anche le superior. Per il resto tutto eccellente. Da provare.

Esperienza a dir poco stupenda, siamo stati benissimo nonostante il clima non fosse dei migliori, personale meraviglioso, gentile e sempre disponibile, il proprietario della struttura molto attento alle esigenze del cliente e molto presente, senza mai essere invadente, ristorante di livello con ottima scelta anche per vegetariani, carta vini importante ed adeguata alla struttura, camera ampia e molto caratteristica e non da ultimo, l'accoglienza verso la nostra cagnolina é stata sopra ogni aspettativa, ci siamo sentiti come a casa, torneremo sicuramente!!

Beautiful but skip it.
Pros:

Air con did not work which discovered at 10pm. Owner claimed we should have known at 5...which was PROOF it just broke! BS...we just did not gripe at first because we thought out side air might cool it down. When we returned from a late dinner the maid had closed all the windows and it was HOT. OWNER THINKS HE IS NEVER WRONG!

Les matelas par contre trop dur.

Small rooms and (a little too) proud owner
Pros:

Memorable moments due to excellent staff. Though small rooms. The owner does not manage to stay in the background. And, in conversations with guests, only speaks about himself. Impossible to interrupt.

The staff is outstanding. The waiters are unforgetable great! Quiet location but rather small rooms. The owner does not manage to stay in the background. And 50 advertised TV-channels where only half of them work.
