Quiet and clean
Did not remove down bedding from room as requested in reservation and also didn't have a working Kerig in room. They did not replace as I requested.
It was very close to the event I was attending. It was very clean and inviting
Not enough selection on menu
Location
Cold indoor pool that kids wouldn’t swim in due to temperature
It was very close to the venue we were going to. There were a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. It was easy to get to from home. The location and accommodations were great.
I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Oaks PA from 6/2 - 6/5. Overall I really enjoyed the property! Specifics below:
Location: honestly couldn’t be better. Lots of green space around the hotel, plenty of parking, and there are a ton of restaurants and shops within walking distance like PJ Whelihans, Wawa, Target, and much more. The hotel itself has a REALLY phenomenal Bar. Excellent drink and beer choices and the night time food selections were pretty good. Major MAJOR thanks to bartenders Ramona and Christine who were so kind and welcoming, and made a damn good old fashioned 😎. Also the gym was great and the pool area looked nice as well.
Service: Front desk staff Kaylee, Brandon, Belinda were amazing. They welcomed us with professionalism and learned our names right away. They also recommended places to check out in Phoenixville while we stayed and were just really kind people. The only bad mark was breakfast host/server Truptji. It was clear she gave preferential treatment to certain customers and was pretty unwelcoming with us. The breakfast food itself was fine but the service was really lacking what I had come to expect from working with others mentioned above. That’s really the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 unfortunately
Room: solid! Great bed, TV worked fine, and the bathroom was clean and stocked well. Housekeeping keeps the place pretty tidy. One suggestion is perhaps the carpet could be either renovated or changed. It wasn’t dirty just had kind of an old school look compared to the rest of the really modern nice hotel.
Overall this is a property I would certainly recommend to friends and family and I would even come back sans reservation just to visit the bar. It really was THAT good!
The location - close to the Expo Center.
The coffee was excellent.
The food - most things were overcooked. The hotel carpet in the elevator was worn dirty. The pool was small. The hotel is showing its age. The rate was too expensive for the place.
The worst experience I had in costumer service in all my life traveling.
The staff and management is completely unfriendly and not reliable.
Choose another hotel to stay, this is an experience you want to avoid.
I was expecting it to be included as in the pass
The hot water for tea tasted like coffee
The lobby is pretty but that's where it ends. The room features rusty bathroom fixtures, greasy headboards, dirty carpets, and worn-out board-hard beds with wooden frames that you will walk into every time you get up. The icing on the cake was that when getting a drink at the bar, the bartender literally pulled the cherries out of the container to toss them in my drink with her bare hands and then licked her fingers. Management is asleep at the switch
Convenience
Room was tight , air didn’t work properly, bed uncomfortable.
How clean everything was and the staff was very nice.
Location
Staff was rude, there were no cards available for our luggage, no coffee available until 7 AM. Allowing people to walk around in risqué outfits and vulgar clothing.
