Personeel was super vriendelijk, alles was goed onderhouden. We voelden ons direct thuis daar.

Carino, ci torneremo!
Pros:

Struttura molto bella, accogliente, pulita e molto tranquilla. La piscina bellissima e anche la terrazza panoramica all’ultimo piano.

Cons:

La stanza in seminterrato ha delle finestre molto alte, non adatto a chi soffre di claustrofobia. In ogni caso il prezzo della stanza era ottimo.

En underbar vistelse där vi kände oss väldigt välkomna!
Pros:

När vi kom fram så blev vi positivt överraskade över den genuina och familjära känslan som finns på hotellet. Vi blev välkomnade vid entrén och incheckningen var förberedd så allt gick snabbt. Vi var ett större sällskap och de tre enkelrummen som var bokade blev uppgraderade till dubbelrum så det var en bonus. Ett av dubbelrummen blev också uppgraderat i klass. Vi var alla nöjda med rummen som hade olika storlek och inredning. Balkong eller terrass fanns i alla rum.

På hotellet finns många olika ytor för umgänge både inne och ute. Takterrassen är magisk att sitta på under kvällen. Inredningen i gemensamma rum kan nog av vissa kännas omodern men vår känsla blev att den förstärkte den genuina och familjära känslan som vi uppskattade. Väggarna är fulla av konst och det finns en uppsjö av samlade föremål att beundra.

Frukosten bestod av ett fullgott grundutbud med ett par olika sorters bröd, olika pålägg, frukter, kokt ägg, marmelad, nutella och såklart flera olika kakor vilket verkar vara Italiens frukostfavorit. De kom till bordet och tog beställning på varm dryck, cappuccino, kaffe och choklad. De gjorde även äggröra vid beställning så den var verkligen nygjord och god.

Omsorgen av oss gäster var fantastiskt. Vi erbjöds skjuts in till Viareggio och tågstationen även då det skulle kräva två körningar, en kväll ville vi ha hjälp att beställa pizza till hotellet men de åkte istället och hämtade pizzorna åt oss.


Handdukar till både pool och strand finns att låna.

Una piacevole scoperta: ritornerò!
Pros:

La piscina è fantastica e mi piace che sia immersa nel verde. La terrazza panoramica è molto bella e confortevole. La camera singola è piccola ma perfetta, con un bagno davvero bello e una terrazza personale vista mare con tenda per l'ombra. Il personale è gentile ed efficiente. Io non ho mangiato in hotel, ma pare sia molto buono: la prossima volta! Ci sono bici a disposizione e comunque la posizione è ottima. In 15 minuti a piedi si raggiunge anche il supermercato, fornitissimo. E poi l'ambiente è molto particolare: opere d'arte e memorie del proprietario ovunque. Bello bello :)

Cons:

In effetti le camere non hanno una buona insonorizzazione e a volte i rumori si sentono un po' troppo, ma niente di terribile. In camera ci potrebbe essere un bollitore per l'acqua. Nel minibar ci sono delle bottogliette d'acqua, ma sono molto care. L'acqua del rubinetto è potabile però al mare non ha un buon sapore. Sarebbe carino avere almeno una bottiglietta gratis al giorno o a costo più contenuto. Ma si può fare come me: comprarla altrove. Nella camera singola l'aria condizionata è direttamente davanti al letto, il che può creare qualche problema. Capisco che date le dimensioni non si poteva fare diversamente, forse si potrebbe prevedere un qualcosa da attaccare al condizionatore per schermare un po' il flusso. Non sono critiche, piuttosto suggerimenti.

Heerlijk authentiek Italiaans hotel!
Pros:

De locatie is perfect. Je loopt in een paar minuten naar de boulevard. De (gratis) fietsen voor de deur zijn een uitkomst.
De kamers zijn comfortabel. Het nieuwe gedeelte heeft (kelder) kamers. Voor onze pubers perfect, heerlijk koel. Maar er komt geen daglicht.
Ontbijt hadden wij niet gereserveerd maar indien gewenst kun je zo aanschuiven en betaal je per keer €10 pppd.

Personeel is super behulpzaam !

Cons:

De eigenaar is een oude baas. Hij zit bijna de hele dag beneden bij de receptie. Hij kent iedereen, weet kamernummers en inmaakt graag een praatje.
Maar hij rookt wel de hele dag sigaren en die lucht ruik je zeker beneden en door het trappenhuis. Wij hadden er geen last van maar als je daar niet tegen kunt is het fijn te weten.

Would definitely use the hotel again.
Pros:

Small swimming pool with excellent hydro massage pump.
Secure parking just outside the grounds of the hotel.
The female waitress in the hotel restaurant was very cheerful and attentive and deserving of a special mention.
Our room was very nice and spacious with a lovely balcony. Hotel itself is very welcoming and full of artwork.

Cons:

All good!

We managed to get a sunbed on every occasion so I must state there were enough, however a notice on reservation etiquette might help those clients who are too selfish to have consideration for others (ie for those who leave towels on beds in the morning and then go off to sea for the day!).
