A business trip to Jogya, this time made me stop at the Sahid Raya Hotel and Convention, it is located a little off the main road, which makes the hotel feel quite calm, there are several entrances to the hotel lobby and I only realized this when the taxi driver took me to the back area . The convention area is like an oasis in the middle of the city, welcoming the Chinese New Year, red and gold decorations appear in the corners of the room, the check-in process is fast, the lobby atmosphere feels cool and smells calming
The hotel directed me to a deluxe king premier room. During the walk to the room, what caught my attention was: the hallway to the room looked clean, neat, there were no stains on the walls or floor, and that was a very pleasant thing.

The deluxe premier king room, very spacious and pleasant, the shades of cream and brown felt calming, after I did tiring activities in Jogyakarta, I found a marble sink with matching colors, complete ameneties arranged in a wooden box, I wanted to take it home (hehehe),
The bathtub is comfortable, makes me want to stay in it for a long time, clean towels and bathrobes without the smell of bleach are very good, then the AC works very well, makes me feel relaxed

I went down to eat at the restaurant, enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant which was playing a film, noticed the hotel staff were busy preparing equipment for breakfast, I asked the hotel staff to say what delicious recommended food for dinner, and they suggested special fried rice, sahid, bitterballen, frenzy drink, and black cendol ice as dessert.
Bitterballen with mozzarella cheese that melts when you bite into it, this typical Dutch cake has quite a large portion, I have to be careful because eating too much can make you full. The main menu is Sahid fried rice, the appearance is sweet, it is appetizing, the addition of fried chicken, shrimp and satay, however, it's a shame that the shrimp tastes bitter, I don't know, maybe it was fried incorrectly.
Frenzy drink, tastes refreshing, strawberry sour, mixed with the sweetness of lychee, refreshing and cleans the mouth from the remaining fried rice oil, the black cendol ice menu feels very luxurious, I can feel that the ingredients used are very good
the mattress was very neat, clean and comfortable, long and small pillows were available, I was used to sleeping using a bolster, it helped me sleep better that night, the next morning I was a little panicked to find a crumpled shirt in the suitcase, and the good thing was that it was in the cupboard there is an ironing table, with tools, luckily, and this is Sahid Raya Hotels and Convention Jogyakarta, Very Nice

The breakfast was really good while having a wide variety of side dish and the overall quality of the room also pretty good. But the room isn't soundproof enough and the door a bit troublesome. The crew was also pretty helpful while needed and the common facility such as the lobby also good. cc: Shela

Except for the small insects (that they took care of right away and the old condition of the room everything else was great.
Worth the money we spent. Ended up staying here for 2 nights.
I recommend the place because its pretty close drive to everywhere and easy to find.

Hotel with great breakfast , located at jogjakarta not so far from malioboro ,
Huge area and many unique interior spot ,
Some people said this hotel is creapy but not at all ,
This hotel is warm and nice with great breakfast area, has a good pool and many rooms its suitable for family , bussines and friends trip.

Room cleaniless:
- dusty coffee maker and cups
- poor wifi connectivity
- tv remote didnt work
- dirty towel with brown stains

Service:
- staffs were friendly and helpful
- booked for in room masssge. Staff at the counter quoted 100000rupiah for 1hr massage. However was charged 200000rupiah, even though the receipt stated 150000rupiah.
-price which i paid for should include breakfast, but was denied of breakfast there. And was told to pay a separate fee for the breakfast
- ordered a room service for 4am bento breakfast and requested for airport shutle at 430am. However breakfast was not sent. Went down to the reception and everywhere was dark. Not a single soul was around. Felt it was like a hauted hotel. I had to raise my voice to look for staff as there wasnt even a bell for me to press. The staff eventually came out from a room. He was sleeping and overlooked on my requests. But he quickly called for his driver to send me to the airport. Luckily i didnt miss my flight back home

A small group of visiting church workers from America. A brief two nights. The hotel is undergoing massive upgrade so access was down a dark alley. Staff was great, but the complimentary breakfast was Spartan, perhaps because so few guests. It will likely be an excellent hotel when the renovation is complete.

Not good at all. Strictly not coming back to this hotel. It's old and under renovation when I stayed there.

The hotel was closed for renovation. Hotels.com should have checked for the availability of the hotel. I expect a full reimbursement from hotels.com
