Super schönes Hotel
Pros:

Tolles Hotel. Sauber, Lage nah bei der Hauptstrasse. Pool grad neben der Lobby.

Cons:

Sehr lange Wartezeit beim Check in. Depot AUD 200 bei Check in. So hoch obwohl wir nur eine Nacht da waren.

Wasn’t overly clean. Asked the staff about the booking and they advised nothing they could do as we had booked through Booking.com. They seemed angry we had booked that way.

Cons:

Major - lack of parking, very small parking bays, lift not working,

Minor - chipped door frames, substandard cabinet work, lack of USB points, poor tiling repairs in shower, mini toilet.

Lots of unrealised potential
Pros:

The room was fine for a place to sleep and there was a desk for working which was good. It was across the road from officeworks so I could print things easily. Parking was great next door underground.

Cons:

The staff were not terribly attentive except one brilliant man at breakfast who was great (promote him and make him more customer facing - maybe checking people in on the busiest days) and one of the reception staff. Only one of the lifts worked and even then it was rarely free because the staff had to use it to go between floors with their trollies as well as the guests. The reception staff were doing their best as were the cleaners but my opinion is they need a better overdraft to get major things fixed (lifts updated and working), and some key people to build relationships with guests and make the 5 minutes they spend with them a helpful and pleasant experience geared towards their needs and their day. The hotel needs a revamp but that can happen gradually. There is a lot of potential there in my view given the location.

For example I took my laundry with my form to the front desk. I handed them my laundry and the form indicating I would pay the extra fee and they told me they don't do laundry any more and told me I would have to do it myself. So they set expectations they could not meet. I hope they fix these issues and turn things around.

Pleasant hotel
Pros:

Comfortable hotel, but be aware that if you want a room with a view, it costs extra (we paid $25 per night) but the room had a large KS bed. Continental breakfast was very good - plenty of choice. Reception staff very pleasant and helpful.

Bed comfy, shower hot

Cons:

Fire alarm off at midnight, no one knew what was going on, couldnt even hear the alarm evacuating us until opened door to foyer! No direction of staff, no roll call or manifest to see if we were all accounted for. Pretty average situation to be honest.
