Bad start, unlikeable manager, Basil Fawlty minus the humour.
Pros:

Had to book day before, $30, nearby $12 to $20. Very few at breakfast, no soul or sound.

Cons:

Atmosphere, price and few there.

Wonderful service & experience
Pros:

The staff were incredible. Very accommodating and friendly. Went above and beyond to cater for our needs- especially the barista at Brekky. He was awesome! Rooms were tidy and clean, better than I anticipated for an older motel. I loved the vines & low light atmosphere at night.

Cons:

The hotel has a lovely setting inside but there is no Gym and no Hot tub and the pool is cold.
All rooms have a centralised aircon system and we cooked at night. We complained and were given some fans.The sliding door to balcony was seized and impossible to open and close.The wifi inside the rooms isn't the best either.
Buffet breakfast was ok but at times items were empty and the hot food was cold.
Wanted to use the laundry but wasn't working either and no instructions on how to use.
On the positive it's central to everything and it has a nice bar

Great location. Pity about the sleep quality due to the ammenites on offer.

Great location. Easy to access.

Cons:

Bed was very uncomfortable. The pillows on offer were ridiculous. There was no way we could use them. They had been stuffed into the slips and were thicker than 2 pillows and really hard. We tried to use the decorative green cushions instead. Also lots if street noise from passing traffic and other guests in rooms below talking etc on their balconies
