Bergendal Amazonia Wellness Resort

Au lieu de payé 286 euros comme annoncé. La dame de l'accueil s'est trompé et nous a fait payé 386 euros. Toutes les activités sont payantes tandis qu'il est indiqué qu'elles sont gratuites. Personnelle pas très souriant et peu courtois pour beaucoup. Pas d'eau ni d'électricité ni d'internet dans tout le gîte et aucune possibilité de se faire rembouser une partie du séjour.

We had such a lovely stay here what an amazing place.The location was great so quiet and relaxing the stuff very friendly and helpful.Everything was clean and our bed very comfortable.We will definitely be back again.

The location of the hotel is very nice in the forest next to the Suriname river with activities in the surounding for a steep price for Suriname. My Expedia reservation was not registered at the front desk and after 30 minutes wait time they resolved this. The rooms are nice with a great view, but the bed is too soft and the towels for after showering are small towels that does not absorb water. All in all I would recommend this hotel, but some improvements could improve the experience greatly.

Beautiful place - 5 stars for setting and ambience. Lodge (hut) was comfortable with a lovely setting - view of the Suriname River and below a tree with 3 Toucans - fantastic.
We enjoyed a canopy zip lining activity which was expertly run by the adventure centre. Lovely infinity pool. Unfortunately these positives were let down by a bureaucratic place and very disappointing food - either grossly overpriced dull looking buffets or a small al a carte menu with no vegetarian alternatives (as a vegetarian it was necessary to have toasted cheese sandwiches). Again the positives - the natural beauty, lovely pool, nice hut and we'll run activity outweigh the negatives but if improved this could be a 5 star centre.
