Nice hotel, not far from the airport and major Chennai landmarks
Pros:

The hotel is well maintained and the staff well trained, especially the staff with direct customer contact. Also, staff delivering items to the rom (laundry, room service, etc.) are very well trained (unlike man other hotels in Chennai) and don't "hover" expecting tips.

The entire hotel as well as the rooms are spotless and very clean and the beds are comfortable.

Towels are clean and well maintained, unlike other 5-star hotels the towels smell pleasant and not of bleach.

Food (Breakfast and Room Service) is good in terms of quality and selection, as mentioned, some more "authentic" South Indian dishes would be a welcome addition.

The room we stayed in had a small cooking range, a dishwasher as well as a roomy fridge, which is welcome if you want to prepare your own meals or want to buy some fruits or other perishables.

All in all, a pleasant hotel to stay, and we will surely come back.

The hotel has a famous bar/disco called "Flying Elephant" which can be crowded on weekends.

From the hotel, you can be within 30 mins (depending on traffic) at some of Chennai's landmarks, e.g. Phoenix mall, Mylapore, T-Nagar, etc.

Also, the location is convenient for trips to Mahabalipuram and Puducherry/Pondycherry

The hotel has their own fleet of cars but I didn't check if these can be rented on a daily/half daily basis. They are used for airport drops and our airport drop was seamless, the driver careful and the car spotless.

Cons:

The Indian breakfast selection, while good in quality and selection, is more reliant on North Indian dishes, and the South Indian dishes on offer have a distinct North Indian influence (e.g. the Sambhar). It is a bit of a shame as offering "authentic" South Indian breakfast items would be a very nice start in the day for anyone visiting Chennai.

The dishwasher frequently reported an error but the in-house technicians swiftly fixed it.

Pros:

The hotel staff were extremely helpful and accommodated requests to make my stay most comfortable. Room was not too big but compact with all amenities. Fit for those who go on business trip and would like to have closed and private accommodation.

Exceeded expectations
Pros:

Spacious and aesthetically designed to be well ventilated.

Cons:

Approach from main road was a bit tough. Need some sign boards. Dinner spread was limited but had a lot of wise and healthy options.

Excellent experience and on par with previous stays.
Pros:

Staff were very courteous. Very helpful when I needed some documents printed. This will definitely be my place to stay on my next visit.

Cons:

Breakfast was excellent with lots of variety. However having same buffet for 6-7 days made it a little boring. Taste and flavor were on milder side as it caters to mainly overseas patrons. But overall very satisfactory

Friendly staff, pool with a view and a great night’s sleep.
Pros:

Very comfortable bed, a great power shower and a deep bathtub. I liked the roof top swimming pool. Extra points for the kitchen allowing me to microwave my lunch that I brought from home.

Cons:

Very noisy nightclub on Saturday night. But couldn’t hear it from room so not too bad.

Some issues but generally very good.
Pros:

Hotel is comfortable and well sound proofed. Staff are generally well trained and the restaurants are good.

Cons:

At the brasserie during the day I repeatedly experienced appalling service. It was fine during breakfast and dinner but there seems to be a problem at lunch.

The laundry bill was eye watering! Charging by the sock?!?
