Raffles Makati

Location is slap bang in the middle of Makati…easy access to Greenbelt and Landmark.

The hotel itself is a peaceful haven, and even more so than their sister property in the same building.

We were upgraded to a Suite and it was an exceptional room. Comfortable, spacious, lovely comfortable bed. The only misstep is the lack of multiple charging outlets, which is a necessity in this day and age. The outlet built into the nightstand is a bit difficult to access, especially if a converter plug is needed.

We enjoyed an amazing breakfast at the Mireio restaurant. Staff were very helpful in getting us in and out quickly, as we had a flight to catch.

Only disappointment was not being able to grab a drink at the Long Bar, as our daughter in not an adult…but they did try to accomodate us elsewhere.

It was a short stay so we didn’t get to experience the hotel more, but would like to do so in the future.

I recommend staying here and will do so if I am back in Manila.

Raffles Makati as always makes our trip memorable. My family had a quick overnight before heading back to have a vacation up north. We had a complimentary upgraded room. I appreciate Mark at the front desk who gave us a room at the Residences while waiting for our original room as my family was so tired from a flight. Our butler Uno who has been there way back gave his best service to us too. Raffles Makati never disappoints and trained their staff so well to provide an excellent customer service. Keep it up!

Outstanding hotel in all respects. Stayed here on a business trip, my first visit to Manila. A 20 min taxi ride from the airport located close to several malls. Very clean, large room. Had booked using the Amex Fine Hotel program and the hotel accommodated my early check in request. Complimentary breakfast (small buffet but can order a variety of cooked options) was excellent at a Michelin starred restaurant. I also received complimentary high tea which was quite the experience. Buzzing atmosphere. Across the board, the staff was very kind and helpful. I used the fitness center and it was well equipped for my limited treadmill and gym needs. At the price range of the luxury properties in Makati, I thought this was excellent value for money. Given the opportunity, I will stay here again.

The hotel is centrally located with lots of old world charm. The hotel’s decor with high ceilings, wide trim and tall bookshelves speaks of refined elegance. The staff were superb. The greeters made you feel as if they were waiting for your arrival. The check-in process welcomes you with a refreshing drink.

The rooms were impeccable and the staff very responsive. Siza and MJ left a brief note after each cleaning which I loved. Giam Salvatierra was excellent. The breakfast staff, Jamie, Joy, Angel, Ithiel, Jillian, Julia and Peter were superior. They remembered your drink selection immediately and could sense whether you wanted conversation or peaceful solitude. They were simply marvelous. They ensured your day started nicely.

When you want to be pampered without the fussiness Raffles Makati is the hotel to choose.

My stay at the Raffles could not be any better. The room was spacious and spotless. The cleaning done by staff was impeccable. The entire staff surrounding the front desk were professional and always asked if we needed anything.
The real highlight was the staff at dining/breakfast. Words can’t describe how amazing they were. They provided excellent customer service and always remembered items that we ordered daily, such as the tea and coffee. We were given fresh mangoes daily, which we loved. I am a woman who lost all her hair due to alopecia, and often I feel insecure about it. However, this staff treated me like a queen. Jamie, Joy, Angel, Ithiel, Jillian, Julia, Peter and Glan. I can’t say enough about the royal service given and general kindness that this staff provided.
Food was very good and I would recommend Raffles to everyone.

From the moment we checked in, our experience was exceptional. We stayed in a suite for two nights to celebrate our son’s 16th birthday and our wedding anniversary, and the team went above and beyond to make it truly special.

They surprised our son by singing “Happy Birthday” when we opened the door, and I was also delighted to receive a beautiful bouquet — such a thoughtful touch. We thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary high tea and cocktails, and breakfast at the French restaurant was another highlight, where the staff once again gathered to celebrate our son.

A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable. What truly sets this hotel apart is the warmth and attentiveness of the staff, who always greet you with genuine smiles. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this hotel to others.

A special mention to Eva and Marcel, whose butler service was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, they were warm, attentive, and incredibly intuitive to our needs. When my wife was feeling unwell, they immediately stepped in with genuine care — offering to help get medication and preparing hot tea for her without us even having to ask. What truly stood out was the thoughtful gesture that followed: returning to our room to find a beautifully arranged fruit platter accompanied by a handwritten note wishing her a speedy recovery. It was such a personal and heartfelt touch that went far beyond service — it felt like true hospitality. Eva and Marcel made us feel deeply cared for, and their kindness is something we will always remember.

We were also touched by the lounge staff on the evenings of 11 and 12 April, who surprised us with a delicious slice of cake to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It was a small gesture that made the occasion even more special.

Breakfast each morning at Mireio was a highlight as well. The team was warm, attentive, and started our days on such a pleasant note, with impeccable service to match the excellent food.

We would also like to commend the pool staff, who were consistently attentive and friendly, ensuring a relaxing and enjoyable experience every time we visited.

We stayed in the Suites at Raffles. Every Suite at Raffles has a butler (John) and ours was so incredibly helpful. I found the room very nice and spacious. Location was also so convenient.!

Just had a lovely weekend stay at Raffles Makati. From booking to check-out, everything was seamless. The level of service was truly exceptional, with staff anticipating our needs and remembering even the smallest details without being asked twice.

Special thanks to our concierge, Trisha, who arranged our reservations and thoughtfully moved our evening cocktails from the Writer’s Bar to the Long Bar to match our dinner plans. She also organized a birthday surprise for my friend, which exceeded expectations and was executed perfectly.

Our butler, JP, who made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived and welcoming us with refreshments. He ensured the room was perfectly set up, coordinated our turndown service with housekeeping, and handled every request promptly and professionally until the very end of our stay.

The team at Mireio was equally impressive. Everyone was attentive and proactive, always ready with thoughtful recommendations. Whether refilling drinks or assisting with small requests such as condiments or rice preferences, their service never missed a beat.

We truly appreciated the care and ease throughout our stay. Everything was taken care of, allowing us to fully relax and unwind. Thank you as well to the porters for their quick assistance with our bags.

There is so much to enjoy even during an overnight stay. The room interiors itself is gorgeous, and we especially enjoyed the selection of reading materials--a thoughtful touch for guests interested in design and art.

Unfortunately, we did not get to try the mineral pool this time, but we are already looking forward to it on our next visit. Raffles Makati offers a classic, understated luxury experience paired with outstanding service.

This was my first time staying at Raffles Makati, and it was truly an amazing experience from start to finish. It has officially become my new go-to hotel whenever I’m in Manila.

The level of service was exceptional. Special shoutout to Mark at the front desk for making both the check-in and check-out process incredibly smooth and hassle-free. The concierge team was equally impressive—especially Gilbert, along with Trisha and Julian, who all went above and beyond to help me source a hard-to-find item that required a special order through a local vendor. They made the entire process seamless, which I really appreciated.

Our butler, Princes, was also fantastic—attentive, professional, and always ready to assist with anything we needed.

On 3/28/26, my sister Mayve and I spent our last night in Manila at Raffles-Makati. Let me tell you, one of the best decisions ever! The moment we arrived we were impressed with the cleanliness, attentiveness from staff and beautiful furnishings and artwork. We originally reserved the Artist Suite but were pleasantly upgraded to the Legacy Suite (Room 1002- a spacious luxury corner suite with chic accommodations and beautiful city views) and assigned to our private Butler Marcel. He welcomed us with a refreshing specialty drink #Raffles Fizz-like lemonade but better and made with kalamansi. Yummy! We also were welcomed with a personalized card and a tray of sweet grapes and delicious desserts. Butler Marcel acquainted us to the spacious suite and carefully arranged our luggages. He was knowledgeable, professional and kind and pampered us throughout our entire stay. I really appreciate how he reserved our spas, afternoon tea, and evening cocktails. Another example of the impeccable care we recieved from Butler Marcel was when he brought my luggage down to get weighed to ensure it didn’t go over the 50 lb limit thus preventing me from extra charges. Butler Marcel also stayed behind after his shift ended to say his goodbyes and make sure we made it to our Grab ride to the airport. Wow…please accept our sincerest heartfelt gratitude. I’d also like to mention Princes as another staff who stood out. She was so sweet, calm and professional. She made sure our luggages and check out process went smoothly. Thank you Raffles!!! We will share our experiences to everyone. We highly recommend Raffles-Makati when visiting Manila. Top notch-from the food, staff and accommodations.

Our family stayed at Raffles Makati during the Holy Week holidays and we had an outstanding experience as usual. Our room was upgraded to the Legacy Suite because of our Accor Platinum membership which is always appreciated. Our butlers Marcel, Eva, Kane, and Tyron were always ready to assist us with our simple needs any time of the day. They even gave me a small birthday cake with greeting in our suite.
