Best Value Inn & Suites Parry Sound

Overall okay if you are looking for a budget hotel. Stayed there for a night while on a road trip. Staff is very friendly and nice. Few areas where there can be improvement.
1. Cleanliness- The bedsheets and pillows had stains all over them. The sofas also look they were dusted long ago. There’s lot of scope for improvement in this regard.
2. Breakfast options- No protein or fruits option present in the menu. Simple fruits like bananas or apples and any option of eggs if added to the menu will be good.

not clean, broken walls, non-functional light, and every part of the building has different bad smells. Very strange. It was a big mistake booking for staying.

Mall was within walking distance

Arrived around 5 pm. Whole town closed up.
Room smelled like smoker, dressers doors tied because of floor not level, continental breakfast most items had expired dates on them. Only one item good was bed was comfortable.

The front desk guy is very nice and kind.

Great location for the work we were doing super friendly when we had an issue in one room they quickly moved us very helpful will book here again

The roome was under renovations and should not have been given to clientel until complete. The heat did not work and there were no blankets on the beds.
Also the tv only provided a limited amount of channels and would not turn on with the remote control.

No frills dog friendly.

I think that for better convenience, additional wires should be used for the coffee maker.

But everything else was satisfactory.

I cannot say I liked anything special. Cleanness were average, staff were good and polite, building was old, breakfast was different, not in a good way.
Beds, which I think are the most important part of a room, were very uncomfortable, and old.
The Sofa that I slept on was old, broken and unusable.
It does not worth paying less for a room, but cannot sleep through night.

We didn’t stay due to odor of carpets and very old stained chairs. We have asthma and moved to the Best Western. The desk person was nice but could not solve this as we had booked with Expedia. An expensive night all told.

Everything was great

The complimentary breakfast was a major disappointment, consisting solely of bagels, bread, and cereal. There were no options such as cheese, croissants, eggs, or any variety that would typically be expected.
The facility itself is in need of significant repair and updating. Areas near the pool require attention, the walls and ceilings throughout show patchwork that diminishes the overall appearance, and the bathroom caulking should be redone. Additionally, several ceiling tiles need replacement as they are marked with unsightly leak stains, which negatively impacts the impression of cleanliness and upkeep.
In summary, while the staff were pleasant, the property requires substantial improvements in both amenities and maintenance to provide guests with a satisfactory stay.

Older motel/hotel toilet was too small for toilet ,the pool was inside which was very noisy outside our door till after 930 PM.Breakfast included is a stretch in advertising. Hot water for tea was at best luke warm, bagels and bread and I choice of jam and no name peanut butter from a jar I had to had to ask for a bottle of water which I received . King bed was comfortable

The staff was great and accommodating. The hotel is somewhat dated but room was clean.
