Categories

Cleanliness
7.2
Mixed signals: one review notes a shower smelling rotten and delays in room servicing, while another explicitly calls facilities clean and well-maintained; overall slightly below target due to the reported odor and service lapses.
Service
8.6
Predominantly very positive: multiple reviews praise staff as friendly, helpful and fast (prompt room service, efficient check-out, attentive valet in several accounts). Offset by other reports of lost luggage, rude/slow valet and long waits for requests, so score is high but not perfect.
Location
8.6
Explicitly mentioned as excellent and 'perfectly located downtown' in reviews; positively influences score.
Room Quality
8.5
Rooms described as spacious and bathrooms as ideal in reviews; overall room quality is strong with a few service-related issues affecting comfort marginally.
Amenities
8.3
Facilities are described as beautiful, well-maintained and varied (positive mentions of hotel amenities); rated at target with generally favorable comments.
Value for Money
8.3
Standard quality for this hotel tier.
Food and Beverage
8.3
Breakfast and restaurants are praised as delicious and great, though there are isolated service hiccups (e.g., having to remind staff for coffee); overall positive, rated at target-adjusted level.
Overall Experience
8.6
Overall sentiment is strongly positive with multiple 'exceptional' stays and recommendations; isolated operational issues (entrance difficulty, luggage delays, occasional rude/slow staff) temper a perfect score.

Pros:

An Exceptional Stay – Definitely Not Our Last!

This was our second stay at Anantara Downtown Dubai, and it certainly won’t be our last!

Everything about our experience was exceptional. The breakfast was delicious, the facilities were beautiful and well-maintained, and the service was incredibly fast and efficient.

Room service was always prompt, and even the check-out process took just seconds! Our luggage was collected within five minutes, making our departure completely smooth and stress-free.

A special mention goes to the valet team, who were absolutely wonderful! Always friendly, cheerful, helpful, and welcoming. Despite how busy the hotel was, everything remained perfectly organized and ran smoothly.

What truly makes this hotel special is the staff. Everyone goes above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable and genuinely welcomed.
