Location and cleanness
- they charged additional CHF 100 for a 3 year old child without providing any extra child bed, just for allowing us to take our 3 years old child during our stay at their hotel.
- its very hot and doesn’t have any AC. For 4 proclaimed 4 star is unacceptable
- no dental kits in rooms

Hotel in guter Lage in Interlaken. Grosszügige und saubere Zimmer.
Frühstücksbuffet war ebenfalls grosszügig und abwechslungsreich.
Ich würde das Hotel wieder buchen.
Die Zimmer auf die Strasse sind am Morgen etwas laut (wenn Fenster geöffnet / gekippt).

Location was good and the housekeeping service was meticulous even though we did not request for housekeeping, but they went extra miles to hang outside the door.
Morning breakfast variety can change daily instead of offering the same usual.

My experience at Hotel Du nord was almost like being at a Youth hostel. There was the bare minimum service. The furniture was old, the beds weren't comfortable, the pillows were very thin, small rooms and you can hear the street through the windows.
Also, there was a very bright blue LED light that i had to cover every night, the LED was one with the switches next to the beds to ensure you don't get a good sleep. I have tried to close it multiple times but no luck.
The bathroom was ok but a bit tight.
No A/C as advertised but were provided a complimentary fan.
Even the vending machine in the hotel only took coins, something since I've arrived in Switzerland i didn't even see.
The only benefit of this hotel was being close to the train station, but so were the other hotels for the same price. And to be honest, the housekeeping were always good at cleaning the rooms.
This hotel could be something far more great than it is now, but for this current price i feel underwhelmed. Its basically like living in a youth hostel with breakfast provided.
Make this hotel your last choice for Interlaken.

Great location room had a great view, very quiet
No Aircon - temps were 28/ 29, hotel did provide 2 fans without asking they were already in the room which without them it would have uncomfortable - suggest aircon upgrade for a four star
