location is excellent - easy to get to/from train; breakfast was generous; staff very nice
we had been trying to change the reservation before arriving. Staff unable/unwilling to make any changes in the reservation. Once arriving - there were no issues and we really liked the hotel. Despite the intense heat. Be aware - there is no A/C.

My experience was not good I initially booked the hotel because it was described to have air conditioning rooms but as a result my room ( triple room ) didn’t have air conditioning as a result I ended paying extra for an air conditioning room which at the end it wasn’t good either since air conditioning only lowers to 19 degrees. The hotel it self was hot like if the heating system was on , as soon as you step a foot into the hotel you noticed the difference in temperature
in my opinion, air conditioning should be considered just as essential during the summer months as heating is during winter, especially for a hotel located in a destination that attracts many summer travelers.
Aside from the temperature issue, the room was okay but quite small. Breakfast was acceptable, and the staff were very helpful and provided good guidance about the area.
Overall, because of the inadequate cooling and the lack of clear information about which rooms actually have AC, I would give Hotel Du Nord 2 out of 5 stars. I would recommend that anyone traveling in the summer confirm directly with the hotel that their specific room has functioning air conditioning before booking.

There was no air conditioning in the room, which made it difficult to sleep at night due to the summer temperatures. Additionally, I had to book two rooms to accommodate my children and requested connecting rooms, but unfortunately, they were not available.

Shame that all the lounge and bar shuts down so early. Lights go out around 10pm ish. We would have liked to stay down for longer.

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und wunderbar eingerichtet. Die zentrale Lage ist ideal. Bei offenem Fenster war am frühen Morgen die Lage etwas lebhafter, was jedoch der zentralen Lage geschuldet ist. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet und hat den Aufenthalt wunderbar abgerundet.
Aufgrund der warmen Tage war die Temperatur im Zimmer teilweise etwas hoch.
