Had a wonderful time at welcoming and well equipped accommodation
Pros:

Accessibility to both the beach and the town
The staff were all so friendly and helpful
The range of equipment which was free of charge was amazing from bikes to deck chairs. games, books ,beach trolleys, cool boxes etc .
The room was also very well equipped fridge , cooker/ microwave

Wish I stayed longer!
Pros:

Phenomenal location. Friendly staff. Great pool. Nice views. Lobby filled with things to do

Cons:

I was really cold at night and couldn’t find where to switch off the fan, also had to look for an extra blanket and took a while to find it in the closet at the top. But other than that, everything was amazing

Fantastische plek in Port Douglas
Pros:

De ligging was top en het personeel uitmuntend. Er was werkelijk alles voorhanden, van strandstoel tot paraplu, koelbox, handdoeken etc.

The Most Wonderful Stay in the Most Perfect Motel!

This was a wonderful motel, actually the most wonderful one we stayed at in our months long vacation in Australia thus far as it just felt like “coming home”, it was simply relaxing, welcoming, comfortable, peaceful and made you feel like you were at home which was amazing.
We had parking below the motel or on the street out front - both worked great.
Our king room was very comfortable and had more than enough space with everything we needed and so much more to make one comfortable, plus the motel offers SO MUCH to their guests while staying here that it is astonishing… from beach towels, umbrellas for both beach & rain, pool and beach toys, carts, eskies, books, toys, games, IPads, laptops, the list goes on &on… they gave information on all activities surrounding Port Douglas AND it is just steps from 4Mile Beach and on the end of Macrossan Street, so close to restaurants and shopping. Just a perfect motel with wonderful hosts and if we ever have the opportunity to come back we will most definitely be staying right here!

Perfekte Unterkunft
Pros:

Einfach alles! Ich denke, es gibt keine bessere Unterkunft in Port Douglas. Die Girls sind so freundlich und hilfsbereit, man fühlt sich wie zuhause. Man kann so viele Sachen (Tennisschläger, Poolsachen, Eis, Kühlboxen, Bücher, Fahrräder uvm.) gratis ausleihen. Wir haben sogar ein Zimmer-Upgrade erhalten, weil sie meinten es könnte laut werden wegen diversen Umbauarbeiten. Sie geben einen Tipps für die Gegend, haben immer ein Lächeln parat und sorgen sich um einen. Es ist direkt am Strand gelegen und hat eine Garage. Man hat auch eine tolle Ausgangslage für Ausflüge (wir haben Daintree, Mossman Gorge und Great Barrier Reef gemacht). Unbedingt buchen!

Pros:

Das Apartmenthaus liegt super zentral und nah am Strand (ca.150 m) und die Apartments sind groß, geräumig mit einem großen Balkon (wir hatten seitlichen Meerblick im 1. OG, was ausreichend war) mit Grill und einer kleinen, aber feinen und sehr gut ausgestatteten Küche. Alle wichtigen Punkte im Ort, wie supermarkt, Restaurants und auch der Hafen für Tauch- & Schnorchel Ausflüge zum Great Barrier Reef sind fusslaufig zu erreichen. Was die Unterkunft allerdings einzigartig aus unserer Sicht gemacht hat, waren die "Girls at by the Sea", die Ladies an der Rezeption! Jegliche Fragen, Beratungen für Ausflüge, Wünsche, Tips und Buchungen wurden von Ihnen angeboten und übernommen. Dabeiu waren die Preise 1:1 zu den Anbietern udn selbst bei besseren online Preisen wurde die Buchungen getätigt. Dieser Service, die Freundlichkeit, der Humor macht den Unterschied! Zudem gibt es noch alles an kostenlosen Equipment für den Ort (Fahrräder) und den Strand (Stühle, Sonnenschirme, Handtücher, Boogie Boards, usw.) was man sich nur vorstellen kann. Hier stimmt Preis/Leistung auf den Punkt. Einfach fantastisch!

Outstanding place to stay
Pros:

The accommodation was outstanding with clean facilities, arguably one of the best locations in Port Douglas and lots of things included like bikes to use, extra towels, ice/water machines and even Netflix! The room was big and had a nice TV, great air con and good shower. The beds were comfy. It would be hard to improve on this experience
